Of course, there is always a huge team behind it. Even if a casino is small, it still needs at least a finance team, a technical team, legal support, and customer support. At a minimum. And if the casino expands into different GEOs, then it also has to be marketing, local lawyers, localization specialists, and an events team. There are a lot of people involved. It’s not the same as just building a website with a site builder and sitting back counting the money that comes into your wallet.
Yes, now I know that it is impossible for an online casino to be run by just one person, because even if one person is an expert in his field, it is impossible for him to be an expert in all fields as you said. It takes cooperation to run an online casino.

And with the marketing that you said, of course it is done by those who are experts in marketing.

But I don't think there are any casino members who market their casino directly by word of mouth, including with offline casinos, but does anyone market it directly?

Even if a person is very capable and experienced, they simply cannot split themselves between every task. So expertise is not the only decisive factor here; you also have to consider a person’s capacity and the practical ability to operate such a large entity as a casino.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “market it directly.”

It is very impossible for someone not to have an expectation from the gambling sites they are using, even someone that is gambling for fun is not happy to lose always, at least they also wants to enjoy that happiness that comes from winning, however, being expectant to win is not bad but depending on gambling as though one's life is completely based on it, is very bad. Like you said, responsible gambling is the key, and for me, whether you expect to win or not, if you always gamble responsibly, you won't have any problem.
I know that not only gamblers are optimistic about the outcome of their investments but we need to understand that gambling is not the kind of regular investment we must have nee putting our money and going for a good result.
Gambling is mostly manipulative especially games relating to sport and casino games. The casino can try to trick players in a way that they will think that they are winning ans going to be profitable while the outcome will be a disaster.

By “direct marketing”, I mean word-of-mouth marketing, not online marketing. And with skill it's not the deciding factor as you say. Sometimes there are situations where we need additional manpower either in the same field or the different field.

And back to the discussion, I imagine I have enough money to start a business, but I don't think I will start a casino business. There are many other businesses that can also be profitable, but it is true that this casino business has a great chance of being profitable.

I do not dispute that expectations are natural in gambling, as nobody likes losing every time. Even recreational gamblers would wish to get the thrill of winning. The difference, however, is the realization that gambling is not a sure way of investment. In comparison with the old fashioned investments, the house has an inherent advantage, and this is a sure way of ensuring that the operator, rather than the player, makes a profit in the long run. This is the reason why having a gambling site is even more lucrative than gambling itself, although it must be done legally and in a responsible manner. Nevertheless, this cannot be achieved through manipulation and deceiving the gamers, but rather trust, transparency and good management.

With the high rate of casino being launched on a regular basis, I want to know if having a gambling site is that profitable or does it mean that is the easier way to scam people who are making use of the gambling site?

Of recently I have seen the much influx of gambling site and you can't really tell which is Good or not, what we do see is that after launching their sites they look for a way to run sig campaign in other to attract people to their gambling site, and some could be just a month or two months after run that and they have gain exposure, and users trust you would see them ending the sig.

After that you would see them becoming less active on their ANN thread most of them hardly reply while some still find little space to still attend to people but some doesn't. Is gambling site the new way of scam people since many people have became that clever towards to token launching and most do not make it true that and they find it that easier to scam people through gambling.

What do you think, is owning a gambling site that profitable than becoming  a mare gambler?

Well, of course, having a gambling website is very profitable, because it’s essentially money out of thin air. Yes, they comply with the law, and they’ve spent a lot of money and effort organizing these businesses, but you have to agree - once this machine is set in motion, it keeps going and generating profit. I understand what you’re writing about, meaning those who appear on our forum for a couple of months and then disappear, not responding to messages.
They’re scammers, and there are many of them. They’ve always been around and they always will be. These are the casinos that gladly accept players’ money, but when they want to withdraw their funds, endless kyc confirmations begin.

I have never had the experience of seeing how an online casino operates from the inside, but I am confident that, like in any other business, there can be both successful cases and unsuccessful ones. A lot depends on the level of organization, as well as the founders’ knowledge and experience in the industry.I also think it is possible that some casinos start out as honest projects but, after facing certain challenges specific to this industry and lacking the understanding of how to solve them, may eventually turn into scams. In such a situation, instead of solving their problems, it may seem easier for the owners to simply disappear and walk away. However, if a business has all the necessary components to sustain itself, an online casino can be highly profitable. If that were not the case, we simply would not see so many businesses operating in this industry.

I am convinced that no business can be viewed as an uninterrupted source of money. It is often portrayed that way, but it is a false impression that later drives people into disappointment and makes them view themselves as failures. Business is a massive daily effort; otherwise, it is doomed to fail. Yes, it might not happen immediately, but if you do nothing and just wait for the income to somehow accumulate on its own, sooner or later you will simply be left with nothing.

Gambling platforms are certainly profitable for those who have the right knowledge and experience. It can be difficult for those who do not have good knowledge but want to start this platform to survive. If there is no previous experience in operating a platform, then he must depend on others. In this case, platform management can be expensive as both costs and benefits are limited. There are many gambling platforms that could not survive in the market after starting, many of them end up scamming. An entrepreneur needs to know a lot of things to manage a site. No way to say that only if there are a lot of wagers on the site and the site will be profitable, because the marketing strategy, bonus provision and technology and licensing of that site may cost a lot, which is less than necessary, and with it there is also staff cost, so managing the platform is definitely not easy.

This is actually an easy question to answer and I will start by saying that gambling sites always have the advantage and if you are a gambler you should know about the house edge and all that, this is what puts the house In profit. It doesn't matter who is winning the house always wins and in the long run they make huge profits. There are records of a few sites that crashed probably due to the poor design or arrangement of the house edge and in few cases this happens when there is a data breach and the hackers tap into the system.

With proper Cyber security and management of house edge designed to favour the house the site will constantly be in profit, this is what makes it a profitable business and if you notice lots of sites keep getting launched on a daily basis. Comparing this to Gambling is ridiculous because there are lots of uncertainty behind gambling which makes it less profitable.

In the end, managing a casino or bookie is a business model and a certain source of income, while on the other hand, gambling and betting are all about uncertainty and risk, that is why it is supposed to be taken as entertainment from the very beginning of our deposit.

I don't think one can fairly compare having a casino as a business with gambling against the house. In the end, the house will always have advantage against us. That is a fact any responsible gambler is never supposed to forget...

So what specifically is needed to launch a website like that? What are the minimal capital investments there? What is needed to support it, what kind of team, and in what numbers? It just seems to me that if it were so easy, everyone would be doing it, but that is far from being the case. Moreover, the competition is huge, which also affects the level and the very existence of income from this kind of activity.

The house advantage does not actually mean that gamblers can never win but it simply means that after everything the mathematics actually favors the house and that is why responsible gambling should always start with having the mindset that the money is being spent for entertainment, not treated as a sure source of income and once u starts seeing gambling as a way to recover losses or make a living, that is where u get it all wrong and it’s no longer safe or advisable to continue.

No company owner will program his company to be at the lossing part, so in relation to what OP is asking, i understand that every gamblers knows the right answer to this question because every gamblers is sharing these pains when ever will experience losing, so OP a gambling site owner gain profit than we that is gambling, for instance, those betting agents that owns betting shops make profits than the gamblers more of talking about the owners of the gambling site who generate their income from every lossing of a gambler and other means that is best know to them.

The gap between responsible gambling and revenue generation has widen in most recent times, with casino owners putting revenue as a priority and never designing any tool or mechanism that will keep gamblers within a responsible range that limits their gambling time.

Most regulatory compliance limitations give room for all of such inadequate provisions of tools that support responsible gambling.

Most often time, the casinos that fall under strick regulatory regions are the ones that are actually meeting those players' safety precautions on the site.

Casino sites are programmed in such a way that they can make a profit in the long run. Their mathematical terms are designed in such a way that they can make a profit. Some casino sites are designed in such a way that the amount of profit may be low but they survive in the market for a long time through trust and reputation, their users keep increasing. When the profit is low but it comes from many users, that amount becomes much bigger after a long time. And the casino sites that are created to scam are in the market for a few months and then they disappear. Currently, their number has decreased a lot because now the users are aware enough that they do not bet on sites that have scam symptoms. But the casino sites that are not created with any intention to scam in the beginning but later get into trouble due to their poor management and when they see that they are losing , they start to scam. Many times user can deposit easily but  they can not  withdraw. In this way, after accumulating a lot of deposited amount for a few days, the gambling sites disappear. And I do not believe that the casino sites that are closed after a few days are closing because they are losing money. Most sites, when they are not making the expected profit or are losing users, resort to scams at the last moment, extorting a large amount of money, and then close the site.

Just like other businesses out there, owning a gambling site is a business, and they also have their flaws and of course they make cool profit as well, a person who  owns a business can not be compared to someone who is patronizing the business, though that does not mean that those that patronize the business does not have funds both parties still makes profit one way or the other most times gamblers wins huge amount from gambling, at times the gambling site makes losses just as gamblers do, also some times gambling sites makes more profit when some gamblers continuously gamble chasing lose.

Well, yes... Of course it is possible for some gamblers to win money on casinos and withdraw it, so they can enjoy it as they please. We all have read and listened news on lucky gamblers who got a life changing about of money by pure luck.

Though, when I talk about the edge of the house I usually make emphasis on how it works so the majority of gamblers funds the casino, while a minority wins and get to enjoy profits.

I usually mention it because, it seems there are a lot of novice gamblers who are unaware of what the edge of the house is, an what it's role is within the ecosystem of the casino.

Owning a gambling site is profitable if you're the direct owner, but as for those that are promoting the site offline I don't think if they will be making much more profit because many people have chosen online gamble more than offline. I barely see people talked about offline gambling this current time as much as they talked about gambling some years passed.

Although not everyone is used to online gambling but if there are people like that I think they are very few, while online gamble has the highest population.
