Tron got sooooo popular its because USDT, fast time finality and dirt cheap transaction. But now there are dozen of stablecoin and faster and cheap chain especially that EVM compatible. USDC with their CCIP already big now. and Cross chain tx become a new norm.

SUI is up and down like crazy now the price is 0.9 usd less than a year ago it hits the price is hit 4 USD, I choose SUI because his on top 50 marketcap and lot of people in my community said lot of it

SUI is much faster and cheaper to use than TRX. There's no doubt about that. But for some reason, TRON is still "King" when it comes to stablecoin transactions. I guess it has to do something with Justin Sun's strong marketing/PR of TRON. He is now seeking US President Donald Trump's favor. The current administration is pro-crypto, so anything's possible.

I'd "hodl" both SUI and TRX just in case. Who knows? Maybe TRX goes to $1 someday. And SUI can easily reach the "double-digits" in the future. With stablecoins having a multi-chain approach, everybody wins.

If we compare blockchains by the volume of USDT transactions, then yes, Tron is currently dominating this segment, with approximately 46% of all USDT transactions. However, I think that Tron will soon lose its leadership in this regard, and Ethereum will most likely overtake it because transaction fees on the Ethereum network have become very low, which cannot be said about Tron.

I'm not sure if the six altcoins you mentioned are suitable for long-term investment. Many altcoins are technologically sound but not reliable for the long term. Why not consider the top five altcoins on CMC? This can reduce your risk and give you the confidence to hold them.

The altcoins you mentioned may be suitable for the short term, but if you're choosing an altcoin for the long term, you should reconsider which ones to include in your portfolio. Personally besides investing in Bitcoin, I choose altcoins like ETH, BNB and SOL for the long term.

I'm sure you're not suggesting @OP to buy & hold $USDT & $USDC for long term investment . Actually, the coins on @OP's list are good coins, at least that's what I've seen over the years & I feel they deserve serious discussion, not just making replies to meet the weekly posting quota.

$APT & $SUI are not doing well, if your benchmark is their ATH price, then you're right, but that's not entirely true if we look at the developments that have occurred on their network. In the midst of a bear market, the altcoin market may look bad, but when Bitcoin (BTC) price recovers, we might see them set new ATH. That's the reason why in my previous post on this topic I included Tron (TRX), Sui Network (SUI) & Aptos (APT).

I have been seeing these coins in a good position in the market for a long time. And they may be seen in a fairly good position in the future. However, like Bitcoin, they are not guaranteed.

If I am to chose any coin among the list then tron is the only coin there that have some little potential to remain in the market for a good amount of time, and this is because of the utilities tied to the coin, but if assets that I can locke and not be afraid of time, Bitcoin is sure the choiced asset for long term investments none on the list is qualified for that possible long term investments because they are all high risk coins.

Wow I just checked and it's actually true, USDT in tron is literally dominating. Never thought that tron is still a thing for stablecoin despite other blockchain being as cheap if not cheaper.
Rest assured though solana is surging in stablecoin payment use and ready to overtake tron position. Currently being used for big institutions' payment rail such as VISA. I could see tron's day is numbered for stablecoin payments and transactions.

No, Solana isn't even close to being a leader in terms of stablecoin usage. For example, if you look at the statistics for USDT and USDC, you will see that Solana's share is only 1.68% and 10.55%, respectively. In this regard, Solana lags far behind both Ethereum and Tron.

Well, there are only 8 coins in the top 10 that will go up or down, and they are fine by me. I would not buy Doge or XRP, thats personal choice, doge is because it's a memecoin no matter how big it is, and XRP because I do not like Ripple as a company and believe they are just scammers, but those are my personal opinions. That leaves six coins to invest, bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, solana, tron, and cardano.

If you want to invest into these for the long term I am sure that maybe a few of them will not do well but in 10 years you will be in big profit. These are strong projects that have a future and most of them will do fine, the stablecoisn I removed because the yare not going up or down and not going to make you any money on the long term.

We all have our different choices, and you made a terrible selection in this list based on my own choice. If I'm to choose an altcoin I can hold till 2030, it won't be anyone on that list. I will go with ETH and BNB and might decide to add Polygon to it. Aside from these 3, the rest I can't hold and leave without checking for the next 2 years.

It will be better if you invest in bitcoin and hodli because that's a long-term investment and the price increases overtime from history. I agree with you that the six coins the OP mentioned are all unreliable for longterm investment. However, they are not and are labeled as memecoins. All of these projects are layer 1. To be precise and fair, they are altcoins, but not memecoin.

In addition, Bitcoin is certainly the best option, but there are also some altcoins worth investing in for the long term. Top altcoins like ETH, BNB, SOL, or LINK are not bad long term investment options. We should not deny their potential and miss out on even greater opportunities. However, we should only allocate a moderate portion of our capital to them because they are riskier and less secure than Bitcoin.

We can make "guesses" like we try to speculate on it, but nobody really knows, knowing requires knowledge of certainty and there is none, anything could happen and we just make up some predictions from our brain but it's total guess work and nothing more.

Majority of the altcoins that are listed here are good to hold but like we know that anything can happen in the crypto market just like the busd stable project by Binance was discontinued due to reasons know to them. Just imagine that you had accumulated this stable coin with the hope that you are going to hold for a long period of time. If you have it in your wallet, it will definitely die off without your awareness.

Despite that we can't say never in gambling with altcoins I call them gambling because their prices could go from 100-0 within a short period of time which makes them not a viable investment choice, Ethereum can still be fair enough as a long-term investment asset, other tha Ethereum, there is no way I can have faith in any of the above mentioned coins.

There are some kinda familiar names there that have really hold a big name in the crypto space even not so big that you can vouch for them for the long term. I feel those coins are worth gambling into and I feel they can actually come up even after the bear run is over. Some altcoins have survived more than one bear market most especially those in the topmost standing of the market cap, so I won’t just give it away that all these coins will die after the bear market. One thing is certain here, Bitcoin is the best of investments, investing in any other coin aside from Bitcoin should only give you another feeling of taking some risks you’re willing to take on and manage yourself through.

If you look at the offer that OP gave SUI is more likely for the long term because of its good growth and the technology it brings is much better in terms of fees and network speed, there is no need to doubt and I think they are quite capable of competing with Solana in the future, SUI at the current price is still Under Value, the probability is much greater if it gets interest from many developers for the development of the SUI ecosystem.

If you were to hold until 2030, just know that most altcoins don't last that long. They can do big pumps but a lot of them fade when the hype and volume disappear. Looking at the list, bet best is the TRX, most proven one since its been around for years. SUI, APT, SEI are newer so they're higher risk and still need to prove they can keep real users over time. If it was me, I'd keep the long term one in bitcoin, they only put a small amount into alts

Among the few coins you mentioned, it is difficult to find a coin to hold for the long term. Because in terms of long-term holding, I usually support Bitcoin, which will lead you to profit in the long term even if it loses you in the short term.

In the mentioned coins, I will definitely keep TRX ahead of the others because this coin has a lot of utilizations. A large part of the transactions of the stable coin are done through the Tron network. Moreover, since it has a large ecosystem, ordinary investors will also find a lot of confidence in this project.

These coins, Sui, Sei, Aptos, Sonic, are not very old in the market. That is why it is difficult to get the certainty that there will be a return on investment if you invest in these projects. If there is no certainty of return, then you have to worry about investing.
