The Ai policy is for the forums the local board join the forum. If theymos don already add am means everyone go still follow the policy even in the local board.
For those you believe that are non Nigerians but using the board to increase their post count what ever punishment wey follow for the policy is will get to them.

I see that thread wey theymos creat, Omo walahi people no dey gree hear something about the use of A. Before na neutral tag Dem dey give Dem but I guess this time around if care is not taken, any body wey use AI to directly copy and paste fit get permanent ban. Except say the person just use am to translate write up from English to another language. Although no be say the use of AI dey total forbidden but e get level wey you fit just use am. But my own suggestions be say to avoid getting ban, make we totally avoid am because using AI self show a high level of laziness. Make we use our brain for once, if we no fit use our brain they reason then we dey indirectly say we no get wetting to think of our own, or say we no fit reason without the use of AI. An artificial intelligence user is more prone to be a plagiarist, because what is writing does not belongs to him, instead it was the incidence of what AI bot as given and they are failed to always reference such as a content from the bot, I already expected that this should have been implemented for long time ago, because be it AI or not, plagiarism is always forbidden in this forum and should be completely avoided for members to engage, I don't know how it is hard for them to only reference and quote the copied aspects or AI content and indicates as necessary.

I no think say their is any need to babysit anybody for this our local board again, because those people wey dy use AI write go still go ahead and use am regardless of anything, because them no get anything to talk on their own.

That problem is for people that don't want to stress off their heads perhaps want to get it done with little or no effort from their own head. However, I know we Nigerians are well loaded upstairs and I see it as no big deal to us and I also want to advise everyone to do what is right so we will wouldn't fall victim.

Furthermore, from what I read on that Theymos thread regarding this AI stuff, he was very serious on his decision against all defaulters, let's ensure we aren't find wanted because I can't imagine someone losing an account that he has put in so much work in building. Moreover we naija's has always been so outstanding there on the global  view so let's try to keep that topnotch reputation that we have build over the years.

Thank you for bringing this important notice to our local board for the benefit of those of us that have not visited the Meta board for sometime. I wonder why posters should use AI to generate their post, it is just laziness on their part, it is better to learn and research then use your own ideas to make your post. Oga at the top has made it mandatory that offenders will get banned so it should be a last warning for offenders to be original when making posts. If you must copy information or ideas from a source the least you can do is give credit to the source by sharing it, if you don't share your source then you are a cheat.

He may be waiting for the final conclusion or he may want to let the rules be added to the forum rules first. I raised the question there to know the reason they have not added the AI rule but we should wait.

Who is a Nigerian can easily known from how they are posting, people do not need to post in Pidgin before you will know that they are Nigerians. Example is me that many of them are saying I am not a Nigerian but I am a Nigerian but I do not post in Pidgin.

Out of curiosity, I would like to know how you can detect someone that is not a Nigerian apart from being fluent in pigin?
It's true that you don't have to use pigin all the time, but at some or a point, you might say a parable or a popular pigin  statement most  Nigerians are conversant with, because it's near impossible to find a Nigerian that doesn't interact with pigin at least once in a while.

Example is me that many of them are saying I am not a Nigerian but I am a Nigerian but I do not post in Pidgin.

Are you going to blame their suspicion?
Because if you were in their shoe, you may also be suspicious, once a user struggle to understand or write in pigin, even though reading and writing in pigin is more difficult, than saying it.

Even if we are doing our research on topics we don't understand fully, it is always best to add links to the topics or comments we make input on, so as to remove the notion of using AI, because these days someone may arrange their diction and tenses so well that it can even be flagged as AI post, whereas all they did was carry out research on the topic before commenting and failed to add a link for where they got such an information from.
Let's be guided so as to avoid being victims without much proof of innocence.

One of the green flag is what the person is posting about Nigeria and recent happening in the country. Another one is the use of some Nigerian English. I am not talking about Pidgin but I am talking about some commons English that is very common among us in Nigeria that Oyinbo might not understand but asked from you if you speak it to them. People that are not Nigerians will want to avoid the first one which is about discussion about what is happening in Nigeria because they can make mistake at anytime without realizing it. You can see the second one even on this my post.

I've already added the new AI guidelines to the local board guidelines thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5430885.0 it is still an ongoing discussion and there are still going to be some minus and plus so I'm just going to leave it as it is now instead creating an independent thread for it. Might do that in the future

Who is not a Nigerian may not know everything that is happening in Nigeria and his contribution will somehow be odd when he tries to talk about the real things that are very happening in Nigeria. Again, such person will be avoiding threads that has to do with Nigerian people and their issues and he will focus more on threads that talk about bitcoin in the Nigerian board.  A real Nigerian will not like to pass threads talking about politics or threads about leadership and bad governance too. Maybe if our oga them  suspect anyone and monitors the person it will be easier.
The words and language the person use may also vary from the normal Naija slangs.

Normally don ready first dey sey Ai post Dey prohibited for this forum , nor mean sey you nor fit use am research just make sure say you nor Dey use am make or create post . Because those that are typing their post themselves don’t have two head so you also can do it , and this is the reason and evidence that school ain’t scam  . Things like this will show why you are educated, because schooling doesn’t guarantee you will become successful in life what actually matters is the knowledge you have gathered all this while during your schooling .

Good intent but, no need for that naw, really, e no need update am for local board rules. Forum rules Dey largely generalized and e no matter where you commit from on the forum, either na for local board o abi na for general boards where everybody Dey discuss and run their matters, once you commit, you go collect.

Local board rules na rules way Dey peculiar to our naija people for here, e no really mean say, e you break am, e go carry heavy consequences way follow forum rules no but, na guide to aid our people to Dey coordinated for this our board.
