This worries me Sometimes I watch soccer and even with VAR, the referees do nothing; they just keep doing what they think is best. In boxing, which is a beautiful sport, you also see corruption. It tires me because I don't want to watch it. Money can change a person; it's a form of power, but it shouldn't be more important than sports Because then the example for our children is ruined, and they'll only learn that business and money are more important than sports.
You can see the corruption of the process from every perspective that you look, from the bottom to the top. Referees, players, teams, leagues, everything is being turned into a quest of money. This is why you will no longer find often magical players, because they are not playing because of the love of the sport they are primarily playing because of the money and the love of money. Not a single great artist became great because they chased the money, those that chase the money are usually mediocre at best. In sports you can simply tell, so even if someone has good statistics you can see it in the way that the person plays and in the way that they behave that there is no art in this process anymore. It is quite sad, and many people are so delusional and addicted to consuming content that they are willing paying a lot of money to participate in low quality sports.
Money has always been a valuable source of publicity, that's why you see boxing matches featuring YouTubers or celebrities, because there are huge sums of money involved. Who wouldn't want to see Musk vs. Bezos fight, hahaha... Whether it's good or bad for the sport itself, people love those surreal things. But make no mistake, there will always be people who still enjoy the pure sport, even if it's not as popular.
This just proves that most of these people are extremely dumb and mentally sick. Many of the users of this forum are the same.
It is simple for answer about this. People are overwhelmed with life's challenges and troubles, and they need what can distract them off it for the slightest period . And be it a flop boxing event, provided they get entertained, it is fine by them.
Distractions are completely unhealthy, which just further confirms my claims that most of these people are extremely dumb. They are failing at the single most basic function, that of living.
