If a casino's minimum withdrawal is $5 and you have just $2, even if you lose it, it's small and would not affect you but you don't have to try to double the small balance that day if you are not in the mood to gamble because you could just lose all at once since the money is already small. Some casino could also have $10 or $20 minimum withdrawal, if the minimum is $20 and you have $19, it's even easy for. Some bettors to easy pick a live game and you it to double the balance, although you could be unlucky too.
I think a balance of $5 or $10 isn’t really something worth worrying about, or even something you’d necessarily want to withdraw. And if you only have $2 left on your deposit, you can simply leave it there. Later, when you feel like playing again, you can top up your deposit and then either withdraw if you want or continue playing. You also shouldn’t expect that you’ll be able to easily double your deposit in live, because that already becomes a rather extreme, and risky style of play. You are right, most of the time when my balance is low that's what I do, just leave the money there and top it up with more money when I'm ready to gamble again but if actually I have exhausted all my allocation for that month and only left with that balance, that's when I will also try to be staking with it conservatively until it grows bigger or gets completely exhausted.

I don’t know about you but this method of compounding betting doesn’t always work for me, even if I manage to win a few rounds, my balance would still get cleaned out in a matter of time before it gets to an amount that I feel is sizable, so I literally don’t like to attempt it. Instead, I’ll just leave it there until whenever I’m ready to make another deposit, I add it to what’s left there and continue my betting.

I think almost everyone does the same thing, I can't count how many times this has happened to me. Every time my bankroll went below the minimum withdrawal limit, I would waste it playing slots or arcade games, because there was nothing else to do at that time. But then it occurred to me that my bankroll was below the withdrawal limit but I was betting 49X on a dice game and I was betting at will. And suddenly I hit 49X once and later I was able to withdraw that money. Besides I think there was nothing else to do at that time.
With what you said that almost everyone does the same thing, I am included. I will continue until everything is gone or until I get lucky and win. I agree that this is something that most likely everyone who gambles has done, whether they are experienced or new to gambling. Another thing I think about is that there may be some people who find themselves with a remaining balance and what they do is add to that balance to bet.

By the way, I am curious about your reaction when your bankroll or capital falls below the cashout minimum (withdrawal requirement). Are you the same as me? or, do you have a different approach?
It's almost the same, because when you see your balance is low and below the minimum withdrawal, it's no longer attractive to maintain. Players might go all-in, thinking they'll win big or nothing at all. Many players probably do the same thing, with little money, there's not much they can do.

Yeah that feeling most times is same for many gamblers. It's just normal to feel the need to spend all your bank roll once it goes below withdrawalble. The chances of winning at this point is very low. You just have to as a gambler be wise on what decision to take next. I've actually taken some extremely small amounts back up but it wasn't easy.. it took me wagering very little amount that seems like nothing after every win.. but at the end it may not really be worth the time, so it's best to just deposit again later on and try your luck. But what ever you do try your best to control emotions because they are one thing that ruins gamblers during losses..

When I find myself in this situation, I continue gambling with the money with plans of building it up to something withdrawable or even something big. Sometime there is this temptation to gamble recklessly with such small amount but I try my best to resist that temptation because that will ultimately lead to losing that balance. The only time I do this is when I already made provision for fresh deposit, that way I will just exhaust whatever I have in my account in a few bets or continue spinning the casino game until one thing happens and I move on.

This is a very well-known psychological theme. 🙋 I discovered its existence back when I was actively trading.
When your deposit drops below a significant amount (for example, $1,000), you abandon classic risk management and the trading rules you know, and start gambling. Your only goal now is to try to recoup your losses (even at the cost of unjustified risk). Is this good or bad? It's difficult to answer this question... I've had situations where I was lucky and recovered my deposit. However, for other traders, things may not have gone so well...
I didn't use this analogy with trading by accident. I behave exactly the same way in gambling. When my minimum bankroll falls below the minimum withdrawal amount, I start taking risks (trying to quickly increase my bankroll). Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I don't.🧖

If you aren't comfortable enough to deposit more funds into the platform, maybe you might have experience heavy loses and that the remaining balance is lower than the withdrawal limit. The best way is to try placing more bets since the outcome is already based on luck, who know you could get it cleared.
You got nothing to do, go all in when your nervous system is at equilibrium, when you are feeling relaxed and calm, then try it again maybe luck could find you, if it doesn't, then accept the loss and move on.

If your balance is too low to withdraw there is really only one option. Go all in on something. Maybe you win, maybe you don't. No sense in spending more money to withdraw a tiny amount, or leaving it and forgetting about it. Just have one last spin, or hand, or whatever you're doing and move on with your life. Nobody wants to track tiny amounts or jump through hoops to recover tiny amounts. Your time is worth something. If you don't value it, who will?

I think a balance of $5 or $10 isn’t really something worth worrying about, or even something you’d necessarily want to withdraw. And if you only have $2 left on your deposit, you can simply leave it there. Later, when you feel like playing again, you can top up your deposit and then either withdraw if you want or continue playing. You also shouldn’t expect that you’ll be able to easily double your deposit in live, because that already becomes a rather extreme, and risky style of play. The psychology changes gamblers often feel pressured to “make it count” and end up taking desperate risky bets thinking it’s too little to matter that’s how small balances usually disappear instantly the best move is exactly what you said either leave it there and wait for the next deposit cycle or use it slowly with clear limits. When you have a low balance you’re no longer in a position of control you’re in recovery mode and decisions made in that mindset are almost always emotional instead of strategic topping it up later gives you the mental reset you need to plan properly again. And yes withdrawal minimums sometimes push people into chasing that last few dollars just to reach the threshold that’s a dangerous trap because it’s when the urge to force wins becomes strongest patience and discipline here make the difference between maintaining your bankroll or burning it completely.

I don't think about it anymore and you're right OP that it's about to get depleted so why give your energy and importance to that anymore. These bankrolls that are below the minimum withdrawal limit, does it still makes sense if there's a little hope that we put into it? I guess that all of us will think of the same thing that it's good as gone forever and we can only recover with it if we will deposit another amount into it. You're about to lose it all, so there's no regret if you're going to bet all of it and YOLO with an all in with high multipliers or odds.

Most casinos have a lower minimum withdrawal, so if my balance falls below the minimum withdrawal amount, I usually just go all in a couple of times before going back to my minimum stake. What would you do with that balance if not go all in? You can’t withdraw it, and it’s too little, so just go all in. It’s either you finish your session or have a few more bets. Only a few won’t go all in because they want to extend their playing time and hope they can recover.

By the way, I am curious about your reaction when your bankroll or capital falls below the cashout minimum (withdrawal requirement). Are you the same as me? or, do you have a different approach?
I had this a few times, and if your money is so little that you can't even withdraw, I think smarter thing to do would be some "ylo" style betting. Bet something that will take your money from under minimum to over minimum and that way if you win then you withdraw it, and if you lose, it wasn't yours anyways since you couldn't withdraw it. These are all important because it ends up with you getting the return that you wish to have and not a bad idea at all. I think it's clear that we are going to see things be a bit different, but at the end of the day it is not going to be easy and we are going to end up with issues that will not be easy, so we need to be careful about what we are seeing here, that's very important.
