Do review Sites Still help bad casinos?

I think it's fine those reviews on the not so reputable casinos stay up on these reviews sites. They aim to provide information on several casinos and how their services differ from each other. I think it's only fair these review sites still put up these shady casinos, telling whoever cares to properly inform himself on what reputable and customer friendly to use and what not so reputable casino to stay far away from.
If an individual has the opportunity to know the services provided and how reputable or not some casinos are, and fails to read through, then whatever outcome he gets, he partly deserves. As those casinos with 5 star reviews are shown, the casinos with 1 or 2 stars ought to have a place on the scoreboard as well.

Agreed and that’s for full transparency and awareness about the existence of shady casino.

Removing them from the list will give them a chance to still advertise and attract users since there’s no bad review against them available when you search the web for feedbacks.

Still displaying them helps user that doing research to these specific shady casino because we all know that they have marketing too.

I use review sites only to know about new casinos, i don`t believe any reviews. Today we see a huge quantity reviews(and review sites) that we made only for money. Often it has nothing common with realty. As the result, i prefer to think that all reviews are fake, all casinos too risky to deposit big sums. If i begin to use new casino, i first of all use all bonuses i can get to understand is it good enough for playing. Next step - minimal deposit and withdraw. Next - few wins and withdraw. If everything still ok - i think that i can use such casino for game but at least few next months my bankroll will be too small to be disappointed if casino decide to get it.
PS. There are good review and there are some good review sites, but for me easier way to think that all of them are fake.

I feel same way about the reviews I read concerning a casino platform or any other app I am about to download. The reviews always look same and even if there's bad reviews, a response sometimes replies about resolution while at other times, no response at all.
The funny thing is that I get to learn about good casino platforms here unlike before when I joined a casino based on rating or word of mouth reference.

Reviews does alot of publicity for the company, but I doubt it does much to drive people away or bring people in, people just love to discover things for themselves, hence the risk we sometimes take while trying a new platform without reading reviews or recommendations.

Most casino review platforms are paid and manipulated, so you can't expect them to take down those sites or provide honest reviews of those casinos. However, even if they are listed on the site, their reputation should be so low and the reviews about them should be mostly negative, so if there are players who insist on playing on that platform even though they know about its bad reputation and negative reviews, then they should be prepared for the risk that they will lose their funds at any time or receive very poor service. Therefore, gamblers also need to conduct research before choosing to play on a platform and not just play there because they offer something that is so attractive.

Yeah, with those paid reviews, it feels like you’re not allowed to say anything bad about the casino. It’s always positive, always “trusted”, always “top rated”. 

But usually, those are for new casinos in the space. They don’t have many users yet, so of course there are fewer complaints. That doesn’t really mean they’re good, it just means not many people have tried them. And you’re right about the ANN threads. Sometimes when you check them, it already looks like a scam accusation thread because there are so many complaints. Some even turn into investigation threads. That alone already tells you a lot about what kind of casino you’re dealing with.

Maybe that’s what we should be promoting more.

This forum is already one of the most active crypto forums out there, so in a way that’s already promotion. We don’t really need to go out and advertise it on other platforms.

Anyone who spends enough time in crypto will eventually find this place anyway. And once they do, they’ll realize it’s more useful than most review sites when it comes to checking casinos and their reputation.

I agree with that. We already have this forum, and we should be focusing more on the casinos posted here. What’s the point of helping if we don’t even support the casinos in this section. Based on my observation, the popular casinos here that survived for many years are probably not scammers. If they were, they wouldn’t last that long in this industry.

Of course, scam accusations are still there sometimes, but most of them are not big enough to destroy the casino’s reputation. Usually they are handled well. Unlike real scam sites that just disappear after a few months and never come back.

I don't mind bad casinos being listed on crypto casino review sites with low ratings. There's a certain kind of honesty in this. The worse thing would be those casinos to be listed on review sties with good ratings. Yes, some gamblers could still signup to bad casinos with low ratings, but they are doing this at their own risk. I don't understand such people, but who cares. They are risking their own money and shall take responsibility for their own mistakes. I also don't pay much attention to casino review website anymore. All the casino reviews and feedback I need are already being posted on Bitcointalk.

Every review site has their own rules, but for me, if I owned one, I wouldn’t list casinos that are proven scams. I mean, I can list bad to good casinos, but not scam ones.

Some sites are just not competitive enough compared to the top ones, but they are still operating, still licensed, and still paying users. So even if some people choose them, it’s still safe, even if the experience is not as good as the top rated casinos.

At least you won’t worry about getting scammed, just lower quality service maybe, slower support, or fewer features.

When I want to download an app, I usually look at the reviews before downloading because it tells a lot about the app, both good and bad. Though I have seen several situations where reviews are fabricated and they are condemned on the review section so reviews are not really reliable to keep up with casino's standards.

Before, I used to trust reviews on app stores and the Play Store, but not until I saw a campaign in the forum where people are paid to submit some sort of positive review of a particular site on the Play Store, which made me start doubting every other review I see. So if you must check reviews, it should be from different places and not just relying on one data source, as it could be fabricated.

Appstore must be a little stricter than on Playstore, as it is owned by the Apple company. I also see that buying reviews you are talking about there but they are frowned upon the forum, so you should not worry much. As we can see, it was the popular places are usually the ones that are targeted by the fraudsters, so other not-so known review sites can actually be safer than them.

Just want to share that there is also a fake page of Google Playstore that some casinos are using. Fake page because you can't navigate else where apart from that download button. It is only interesting that some of these casinos are still legit and paying, according on my experience.

Still, many new gamblers create accounts in gambling sites by following review sites, which can be said to be a lack of knowledge.
New gamblers always focus on bonuses and other offers, including free bets, without making any effort to find reliable sites. So they face scams. Most review sites are paid; they don't have real feedback; they're full of fake reviews. They get paid a large amount, so they don't care about the customer. But I think we can easily find both real and fake casino site reviews on the forum, since every newly launched casino site is promoted there.

As long as it's a legit review website and not an advertisement one, then yeah it's fine and not helping the bad casinos. Because if it's a legit place, you get to see bad comments and why those places are scams and that is good for the gamblers who are looking for casinos to play.

But there are also some review websites that literally delete the bad comments in exchange of money, so a bad casino that scams people end up getting ranked fine and end up looking like a good place. Trustpilot for example literally makes their entire money off that, they do bad reviews, sometimes even fake bad reviews themselves if a place gets too big, and then ask for money to take down the bad ones, stay away from those review services.
