...bitcoin is a really big consumter of energy of all kinds. We have to deal with this as fact and not just ignore it because it's used in propaganda against bitcoin.
It is propaganda cause consuming energy does not mean it is problematic to the environment. It is correct that bitcoin mining is a big consumer of energy globally but this is beneficial cause it disposes of energy that needs to be put somewhere. The heat generated fro mining can be brought up as an environmental issue but that is not still at a scale be a problem.
In fact everything can represent a problem and the propaganda fan club can exploit everything about bitcoin mining to be problematic. Some even negotiate the corelation between bitcoin and gold saying the miner chips contain a percentage in gold which means that bitcoin is a gold consumer as well. You see how haters can develop hateful opinions based on blatant bullshit. And those opinions are widely adopted among all bitcoin enemies such as governments and financial institutions.

...i overheard someone saying bitcoin consumes lots of energy and its not that safe for the living environment.
Consuming energy already cannot be bad for the environment, it is already created and needs to be utilized which is beneficial for the environment. This is all propaganda created by the media which gets attention like all other anti bitcoin propaganda out there.

I really appreciate thank you so much for helping newbies like us understand better about bitcoin,  i really appreciate ,i have read many articles on bitcoin and energy, but i have got tk understand that some of this news is to kill bitcoin, or spread FUD with a sole aim of influcing people's decisions on bitcoin

Let far all the propaganda about bitcoin being a harm for our environment because of the energy huge consumption to run nodes and perform mining. However there are other fields in our economy that waste more energy that can be exploited in other sectors, bitcoin is a really big consumter of energy of all kinds. We have to deal with this as fact and not just ignore it because it's used in propaganda against bitcoin.

For propaganda club, would you tell who consume more energy, bitcoin mining farms and production arms factories? This is your weak reason.

This has been discussed many times. Bitcoin mining does indeed use huge amount of electrical energy but people even if it does use high amount so there should be something that is related to consumption of electrical energy which is heat but people find a way to use it especially in cold areas like being used to warm a place and even used it to heat water. Anyway, you shouldn't worry about it as it is not rhe only one that uses a lot of energy compared to other industries that uses a lot more energy.

The OP can easily check this over the net. And as discussed countless times, you can use any energy source, whether renewable or nonrenewable to do the mining.

The thing is, every time Bitcoin splits, the amount of earnings from the same mining declines. Soon, serious Bitcoin miners will have to focus on setting up power plants in one form or another, just to sell electricity, and also get enough electricity to keep their Bitcoin mining up.

AI centers use a lot more electricity than Bitcoin does. Companies like Amazon are building power plants just to support their AI. Bitcoin miners can do this, too.

Bitcoin is still using large amount of electricity, about amount spent by small nation, but it has habit to become buyer of last choice since it uses faraway power that would otherwise be wasted.
As an example, most miners are now using flared gas that would otherwise be burnt into air, which, in fact, lowers total carbon smoke.

Also, Bitcoin can steady energy grids in such areas as Texas since power can be cut to the mines right away when there is storm to save energy to give to households. So Bitcoin is turning green energy projects more profitable by purchasing extra electricity power, which is one of ways world can be brought to cleaner future.

And if I'm not mistaken, in recent times those miners knows how to recycle as well those electricity or the heat their product to something more productive specially if the mining rigs are located in cold weather.

But I guess sometimes there will be this rehearse topic that we need to see here from someone who has doubts or didn't know how Bitcoin mining is in this time because it has also evolved to answer those so called environment issues.

It should be high-level electrical energy. I didn’t read the article—I’m just guessing based on Bitcoin mining activity. Bitcoin’s primary source of new supply comes from mining, and mining machines require a significant amount of electricity. In a mining facility, there can be dozens or even hundreds of mining rigs operating at once, consuming large amounts of power. That’s why Bitcoin is often criticized for not being environmentally friendly. Until now, many companies have been trying to address this issue through various innovations, such as using green or renewable energy sources that aim to be more environmentally friendly.

Considering AI is running us out of water, and aviation world is spending hundreds of times more than bitcoin, we can clearly assume that bitcoin mining is not the problem we have in the world when it comes to energy usage.

I understand wanting less, there is nothing wrong with wanting less, but starting the complaint from something that is fraction of the real problem makers is not serious work and if the world wants to be safe in the future for staying clean and energy safe, then we need to take a look at things that are doing it much worse than bitcoin.

The classic FUD spread by those who are against Bitcoin and its existence. One should think, are the factories and big firms consuming and using so much energy and burning oils all safe for the environment? No, they are not, yet, no one really talks about them or question their existence or ever say that they are harmful to the environment. Bitcoin mining is more environment friendly than them, because it consumes electrical energy, and almost every single thing these days require that, so it shouldn't be an issue at all. One can even use solar panels to power their mining rigs, that can't be bad for the environment as far as I know.

So, OP, Bitcoin is not harmful for the environment, and all that you've heard or read are just rumors and false accusations only to defame Bitcoin. Bitcoin's energy consumption for mining operations is not that major, or at least not as large as some other companies running their factories and stuff. Bitcoin reached a place where it's now not possible for its haters to push it away, but they will surely keep doing their best to keep it as far away as possible from harming their traditional financial systems.
