Manny wants to have a brawl, he wants body bag, he wants punches throw and lands. FOr the money on this fight it will not be that high as this is a exhibition match.
One more thing, it will be on Netflix. I hope that even this is an exhibition match with the attitude of both fighters, We can see a Knock-out.

This is an interesting match, there's a user who opened up a new topic about this too and asked why they never fight in their prime, the answer is they have the same coach and if I am not mistaken coach Freddie Roach don't want both of his boxers to fight for a reason that he will choose which one he's going to train or choose one corner which really makes sense. Now both fighter were no longer in their prime but still, they are both great fighters but Pacquiao is still hungry for a win, he managed to have a draw with on his last professional match against Mario Barrios which is a world champion while Provodnikov's last match were in 2016, though it's nice to see both fighters with similar game style to watch, both of them are aggressive fighters and high volume punchers, will there be a knock out?

Yeah, you might be right, and I might have forgotten that they have been under the same coach before that's why they didn't fight. I'm not seeing a knockout. Maybe there don't have the same power when they were still young and at this age, maybe Provodnikov might have lost that already.

Could have been in some rounds that we might see some great exchange, but since might be considered as a exhibition match, they might not go for a knockout but just to entertain the crowd.

Yeah this should be good if they are in prime and sanctioned professional fight since there's more better fights or actions to see on their match.

But since this is just another exhibition match same with you I don't expect much in this fight, since they might not hit each other hard and maybe just enjoy the match until it ends.

Also I don't think Pacquaio is been classified as slugger because for what I know he's well known on his footwork and power. Also his not aggressive type of fighter since he usually calculate each movement he do and that help him to win his fights.

He’s still very popular. If Jake Paul can make millions from exhibition fights, then Manny Pacquiao can do even more, no question.

His last fight was a championship fight, and he was still able to draw a big crowd and make huge money. That already says a lot, people are still willing to watch him. You can even hear the crowd chanting “Pacquiao, Pacquiao” every time he fights.

So even if this one is just an exhibition, it’s no different, people will still come just to see Manny. And it’s not even his first exhibition. Remember the one in Japan against a taller and bigger guy, he made big money there too. So yeah, this one won’t be any different, hype is still there.

You probably didn’t see his fight against Mario Barrios. Forget about the age comparison for now. Manny Pacquiao already proved he can go toe to toe with a legit champion. That alone shows he’s still competitive. So this new opponent is not really someone I see beating Pacman easily.

What’s more interesting for me is how Manny is finding ways to stay active, especially after his fight with Rolando Romero got cancelled. This is a good way for him to make money while waiting for a real pro fight, and at the same time keep his body in shape. So when a big match comes, he’s already ready, not starting from zero again.

If I were to bet, I'd go with Manny Pacquiao because of his experience and ring intelligence. Even though he's older, he knows how to control the pace. Ruslan Provodnikov is dangerous and always applies pressure, so the fight should be very dynamic. It might be that Manny wanted to test himself because he might want to fight for the belt after this. So maybe a 6-8 rounds for him might not be enough to be still on high level of stamina that's why they extended it by just two rounds.

So I do agree that it's just a stay busy fight although the choice of opponents is quite surprising to say at least. Maybe Manny dream of this fight during their prime but it didn't happen as they are being trained by Roach.

We don’t really know the full reason, but one thing is sure, this fight wouldn’t happen if they thought fans weren’t interested.

The fact that it’s being held in the US already says a lot. The audience there is mostly American, and we all know how popular Manny Pacquiao still is in the US. Even if his opponent is not that famous, as long as he’s willing to step in and make it competitive, fans will still watch.

In the end, both fighters make money, no one gets badly hurt, and the crowd gets entertained. That’s business.

Another exhibition match. We all love Manny, I guess? But I don't know, I feel like this is just for the money. I don't want to place any bets on these exhibitions anymore, even if involves Manny. I would say that his is quite a strange match-up. If the name Pacquiao is familiar to many, then Provodnikov maybe unknown for young generation, or not even a big boxing star at all (or did not manage to get big popularity to be remembered today). It would much better if they have met while they were much younger. People would go watch on Pacquiao with giving questions who his opponent is.

This exhibition game has already offered to Juan Manuel Marquez and Tim Bradley Jr, but sadly, they're all rejected this. Ruslan is the only one who accepted this game. So they have no choice other than pick Ruslan as opponent caused by Pacquiao is in the need of money.

Pacquiao must be in need of money if he does profession and exhibition boxing so often. I remember he had professional fight recently, exhibition boxing fight against youtube phenomenon DK Yoo, a fight against kickboxer under boxing rules. He should better someone like Jake Paul to make big money.

Mayweather is allegedly coming out of retirement due to his own money problems. First, he will have an exhibition against Mike Tyson and then resume his career. Things are lining up for a collision course between these fighters. I really can’t imagine Floyd or Manny fighting the younger guys, like Devin Haney, so it is only natural that they should fight each other again.
