Okay from how I view it, is that mental issue or illness don't just come up by any chance and it can be worked on because when too many thoughts just go through your mind at once definitely there be confusion which can make your mind slow because of too many things to process but if you want to help yourself to maintain that balance just take time to slow down things and sort your mind because that's the only way you can keep the way you think healthy and safe rather than focusing on negative thoughts or letting negative thoughts control your mind
Thanks for the reply. I do believe almost everyone has this happen in one circumstance: when answers are demanded under pressure, including with panic situations. People can easily do a certain task, but then under pressure they might start mixing their thoughts together. If there is an emergency, then slowing things down sounds like a tough situation. However, stopping to assess the situation might be a critical step to regain control over the mind. There are also situations under pressure that are not emergencies in which slowing down is much easier to say is the right thing to do. Also, multiple people can talk to you at once, which can also result in tangled thought, though the solution is a bit more obvious.
But, I do think you're right that people diagnosed with "multiple personalities", schizophrenia, Tourettes Coprolalia (blurting out insults), or other mental issues would have this occur more often because they may not be able to tell people "please, one at a time" for as much effect (though actually that could help to try).
