Project Development becoming AI announcement.

I draw the forum's attention to the user "Redni". In the span of half an hour he [ANN] three different AI projects. Completed projects that are not under development. Other users are smarter, posting under the guise of "asking for feedback". We have a service section to announce your working projects - please leave PD to the developers.

Well, I actually went through his threads and I also feel those topics does not belong there but this should be one of the functions of the Mods to move topics to where they belong, isn't it? I know they have alot at hand, should that be the case then I feel there is a need to add more moderators, I also saw another thread, it seems to be off topic but it hasn't been moved either.

Again, the user whom you are referring to could likely be a chillers, someone who got paid to continually be posting about some particular projects in order to keep attracting the attention of many people over here.
I must say; people should be warned by how they follows most of these AI projects as now is not the actual time to invest in an IA project as they could be scammed. If you consistently seeing a particular user posting a particular project over here then know it's a paid post IMO.

Yes, and the moderator (Mitchell) has been doing a good job, but it seems like I am the only one reporting. Based on the poor response to this thread, I guess it's not a forum issue and I'll have to keep reporting them. Would be ironic if I had to create an AI agent under Vodbot to deal with AI. Wink

He originally created those 3 thread on "Development & Technical Discussion" board, but moderator @achow101 moved it to "Project Development".

Is it really suitable board when his app/script seems to be open source and you don't have to pay/register?

The ones I reported yesterday are gone, so I don't think they belong in PD. If you are saying they do not belong in Service Announcements, where can we put threads for projects that are created by AI in a matter of hours? Maybe a new board is needed? "AI Discussion" since it's not going away.

Those threads were posted in Dev & Tech originally, but don't really belong there. I moved them to Project Development as that seemed like most appropriate place for those threads, but I agree that they don't quite fit that topic either.

However, they got moved back to Dev & Tech recently. I'm not interested in playing a game of tennis here so I've removed all of the threads entirely.

They seem to be quite low quality anyways.

AI allows anyone to create anything so most people create what they personally enjoy. If you don't want AI slop, you have to code for the interest of your audience. How many people care about the music/white noise the blockchain can create. Must be an artist!
