For the past few weeks, I just kept buying cheap Bitcoins, especially when we are dumping recently. Right now, $6x,xxx is more on my buying level where I have a set of funds allocated for buying Bitcoin, but it is scattered on different levels with specific amounts. I don't really say this is DCA, but it's close, as I just buy at different prices.

This is more like buying every DIP because you bought at $67k, $66k, $65k, and $64k which means that the more the DIP, the more you buy. This is why i tell people that as a bitcoin investor you can never lost so far as you have a long term mindset except you just did a lump sum and never buy again but inasmuch as you consistently buy bitcoin, either by using the DCA strategy or buying the DIP strategy you will always be at profit.

Let's consider an instance where the average of your total bitcoins is at a price of $70k when you include those you bought at a high price maybe around $90k or $100k, you can see that you are close to recovering the losses of those bitcoins you bought at $90k or $100k which means that buy the time that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket to that price of $100k, you must have made some profits from the buys you made around $60k+. This is also why it is good to buy the DIP aggressively so that when the price skyrockets, your profit level will be higher.

Thats why its called DCA on which when you do make out such buys then you are that lessening out your average entry and thats something advantageous in compared into that lump sum one time position then you would definitely be having that fix entry on which it might took a long time before you would be able to hit up break-even but well it wont really be that an issue if you are going for long term then it wont be that much of a concern but if you are that going for short term profit withdrawal or gains then this would be the best approach on having that DCA. We have able to jump a couple of considerable % in increase of price and to those who had been able to get in while the market is still on that support or at the bottom then it do make out that nice call on trying out to accumulate more.

Somewhat if we do based up on technicals then it is clearly a support but due to this market is unpredictable then there's always the possibility of break out and thats something thats one of the probability but of course this market always have the potential specially to Bitcoin.

what you said is true that it's not necessarily to motivate people to buy Bitcoin but I would still say the news and it will be up to the person who I told it to that it's a dip time. If you wanting people to buy something that you bought is like controlling them to do the same as yourself. It is better that we should let them decide what they want if they want to buy Bitcoin, altcoins or shitcoins because the important thing we do is to share the situation or news.

i don't know if I'm doing the right thing by bringing this here, but i think, i just have to motivate some other persons to do same.
i already bought some usdt and then swapped to bitcoin and i was very reluctant to inform the community but after some  considerations, i thought it will be best to show it to the community so as to encourage and also motivate some other persons who might be holding back on buying the dip as there is no other better time than now.
i have also decided to DCA as much as i can and i will also be buying some more within the week or next

I think this another great opportunity for those who missed out from past dip and i intend to hold until we surpass previous ATH

I am happy that you bought your first ever bitcoin and you have bought at the right time too becaue many are still waiting for the market to dump more, which can be true and it can be true that the value you invested now, which is around $700, might lower to $500 and maybe lower than that. It depends on the price.

I know it is not to showoff, I am also planning on buying and accumulating some recentl,y but the price was higher than it is now so I am also waiting for a bigger dump, if it occurs I might buy if not then I am already in so no need to buy more because I am not doing DCA for long term, I have limited funds so I will utilize them in a better way.

Could you believe that some people doesn't research before making prediction of Bitcoin price....most of the predictions are been made through exaggeration and assumptions, and that's why you come across of many assumptions-prediction that always failed via Bitcoin predictions...Sometimes people predict accurately the market movement of bitcoin, and it happens when they make an extensive investigation or research about bitcoin...like as I said before, that some people follow lines of discussion and make their prediction of Bitcoin with conducting their own research of bitcoin and come up with a result....so we dont have believe on so many predictions because 80% of the predictions are incorrect.

Bringing this here is not bad as long as your identity was not revealed in anyway, you already covered your name on the receipt which is good, if you also have your identity already known my some members on the forum living in the same country with you, then it is not totally good to announce the amount of Bitcoin you bought, you can encourage people to buy the dip without showing how much Bitcoin you have bought on your own. I think OP is just excited considering the amount (in his country's currency) he used to buy bitcoin so i don't actually think that he is trying to motivate anyone to buy. Besides, OP might have used his discretionary income to buy bitcoin, someone cannot be motivated to buy simply because OP bought and even if anyone gets motivation to invest as a result of influence from the OP, it's still not bad so far as they invest with what they can afford to lose.
     This is a bitcoin forum and thus our most discussions here is about bitcoin so i don't think there is need to have mixed opinion when you see people who are truly buying and holding since there are also people that have been campaigning about bitcoin, but they do not own a dime as they're all no coiners. About the screenshots that he displayed, i think he is just trying to prove that he actually bought bitcoins worth that amount because if he were to just make an ordinary post without some proofs, it would have looked like he was just trying to cook up stories.

Yes, we should never share with anyone how much Bitcoin we have bought, and if possible, always tell them a lesser amount because we never know what the other person is thinking. A database named https://stats.gart.io/ shared by pmalek gives us an idea of why we should hide our earnings and our investments in Bitcoin.

Especially in a place where our friends or those who know who you are and where you live, they can now know how much you invested, and that's how things can become bad for you when the bull run arrives. I have already bought dips a few times, when the price had dropped 50% from ATH, I did not wait any longer, I bought dips as soon as I got the opportunity. In fact, I am still waiting with great interest to buy dips, I will not delay as soon as I have the ability. Its duration will definitely be long, at least until the end of the upcoming bull run or at least to achieve more than 80% of the current ATH. Buying the dip now is that wisest decision you can make when it comes to investing in bitcoin at the moment. There's a lot of speculations going on about bitcoin reaching 30k, we cannot be certain of that so it is better to invest in the dip. But in my opinion you shouldn't have posted the entire transaction showing the amount you used to buy your coins and all that. if I were you I would not have  been specific with the exact amount that, it is better to move in silence and keep growing,no one has to know your exact crypto investment amount.

By doing this you have already taken the last bit of drop. I agree that it is impossible to find better time to buy than at huge fear, mostly with huge players such as MicroStrategy still buying Bitcoin at same time world is going through money worry. In my opinion your long term goal of hitting new highest ever is good, but you must look closely at floor price of 60,000, as even new world taxes might upset markets a bit in short time. So there is nothing smarter than to go with this unstable price with your steady DCA plan and history has shown that those who buy when everyone is afraid to buy, are always winners when market finally turns around.

And then I bought another coins again over $700+ in usdt which I later swapped to bitcoin and my target is to keep buying regardless of the amount until we hit a new All Time High price and one thing I'm sure is that, no one is certain of when we will hit a new ATH since everyone is only speculating  and predicting but one things is also for sure, that regardless of how long it might take, we will for sure hit a new ATH but for now, my target is to continually buy at every opportunity that presents itself regardless of the market price.

What you are doing is a smart move by buying Bitcoin when the price is down like it is now. People usually feel reluctant to buy Bitcoin when the market is sluggish. And they think that Bitcoin will continue to fall even though Bitcoin cannot be accurately predicted in terms of price increases or even decreases. But they will start to be interested in buying Bitcoin when the price is already high. And I think they are the ones who don't have a firm stance to believe in Bitcoin for the long term. No wonder they often lose money when investing in Bitcoin. So I personally appreciate your decision to buy Bitcoin and even use the dollar cost averaging strategy to make it easier for you to compound Bitcoin. Bitcoin dropping to $45k or $40k is entirely possible and many people have made that prediction, not just you. However, there is no guarantee or certainty that this will happen. That is why DCA is recommended over any other strategy.

I have no intention of lecturing you, and I respect your decision. I just want to say that in an unpredictable market like Bitcoin, being subjective and betting on a single scenario is quite risky.
