What is your impression about female gamblers?

There is this general impression about gambling that if you tell anyone that you gamble the first thing that comes to their mind is addicted gambling and then they start throwing advice and all of that. But when people see a female gambler they act as though something is wrong with what they're seeing. And it seems to me like society has painted it that way that female aren't supposed to gamble or engage in things that are related to betting, and it's possible they see female gamblers as irresponsible people.
Personally I don't think gambling addiction has the slightest chance or getting into my life because I don't see gamble like the way those addicts sees it besides I don't gamble always.
So this draws me to my question, what do you think about female gamblers? Have you encountered a female gambling addict? Do you think they have better financial management skills than men?

Gambling female are very rear not to talk about their addicts, I have not seen any female addict..

Female gamblers are often seen as a neglecting mothers who has failed to take care of their responsibilities and when they become addicts they are being stigmatized and shamed for gambling also, the society happens to be against their behaviour.

Whether I have encounter a female addicted gambler before or not, it doesn't mean that there are no addicted females in gambling, the addicted female gamblers could even be worse than males but they are not rampant as males which are easily addicted because they want to always make their first millions in gambling. I do not see female gambling as a bad thing, every adult have the right to choose and do what they want to, the society can also think what they like, if a woman is always gambling responsibly, then there's no problem with that, most people in the society also see male gamblers as irresponsible people.

Yes, I have encountered female gambling addicts, and it's true they are irresponsible or at least they got rekt and making a lot of loans left and right and can't pay. But that's the typical definition of gambling addiction so what can we say?

It is says that women should be better than men in terms of financial. But in the world that we live in right now that gambling is like part of our lives, sooner or later there will be a lot of women that will turn into gambling addicts. So I would say that there's nothing special right now to see them gambling around solo with friends or even with their husbands.

What I do know is that there are more and more women players; that taboo doesn't have much time left. And regarding the other questions, perhaps several decades ago it could have been said yes, because there were times when women were historically held to higher standards. Now, I think there are women who can be worse than men; in the end, they are different people, we can't judge them by their gender, and everyone has different life experiences. And now, more than ever, women's lifestyles have changed radically towards a freer and more open mind, with the exception of a certain minority, of course.

When it comes to gambling addiction their is no better version of it. Whether you are a male of female gambling addiction will always mess one up. When you are addicted to gambling you will still spend money unnecessarily,  being a female gambler who is addicted to gambling doesn't mean you will manage mondy better. I think addiction in male is just the same thing with being a female,  everyone just need to understand gambling better and to do the right thing not to be addicted to gambling.

It seems like most of us are still getting it twisted by trying to deprived women from having fun and entertainment of gambling. Because I don't really understand why women wouldn't have the same fun we are enjoying in the game because gambling has been all about having fun which is made for everyone to enjoy together. To be honest I don't have anything against any woman that is trying luck with the amount that she can afford to lose because already gambling is all about choice as long as you are using your money to gamble on the game nobody has any power to stop you from having fun.

Actually women are seen or regarded as responsible people in the society, and anyone seen gambling is tagged an irresponsible person because the society se gambling men as irresponsible people, that's why women Total avoid being associated with that name. I have seen a female Gambler though she is not an addicted Gambler but because she does gamble, the society sees her as an addict just because she is a gambler.

And secondly women are naturally financially minded and people Respect them for that. And they also apply that to Gambling, they gamble and spend wisely to avoid losing, because women's greatest fear in gambling is loses and this makes them to be more careful. Sometimes they even stop for sometimes after losing 2 to 3 times.

In my own country, few women gamble, the activities of gambling is mostly done by men. If you ask me, women taking part in gambling is very wrong, apart from addiction, it makes them look very irresponsible than the men. Take for instance, as a man, probably married man, you are in the house and your wife is the gamble shop, leaving her domestic responsibilities and the children at home, this doesn't sound good at all. Based on this fact female gambling should not be advised, because it can more problem than when a man engages in gambling.

 Anyone can gamble it does not really restricted to male alone, as far as I know gambling is open for everyone both male and female anyone who knows how to predict can actually gamble. The most important thing should be that they should be gambling responsibly instead of gambling out of proportion or even becoming so addicted to gambling and as I know, women are more careful with their money in terms of gambling and they are good bankroll managers. They manage their money amicably while gambling that is why it is very hard for a lady to lose huge amount of money while gambling that is why men lose mostly while gambling and they easily became addicted to gambling while comparing to the ladies.

Talking about gambling and women who are addicted to gambling, in my opinion, this situation meets with various responses and views, it depends on how women and gambling live in that country.

For example:
Sweden is like the data I have seen historically, perhaps there women who gamble are considered great and there are more women who are addicted than men, as well as Australia and England, especially Europe could be considered normal.

But it is different in general from Asia or the Middle East or Islamic majority countries, if there are women who are involved in online gambling, they can be said to be seen as dirty and despicable and can be seen as negative and messy financial management, because they can be seen as bad.

here in my country women does not participate in gambling as who as men participate in gambling and secondly some of us see some people who participate in gambling as in responsible people so that is why many women dislike to participating in the gambling and if there is any woman that is participating in gambling in my country it is doing it secretly with her laptop and it must gamble online instead of offline so that people will not notice her that much, and the woman gambling have disadvantages if it is an adult participating in gambling being a woman that will be private to her a marriage because most of the men does not like women that involved themselves into gambling

Women definitely are better at assessing risks and not taking them. Men are more prone to taking risks and most of the time, doing so completely oblivious of their chances. I think it must be some kind of evolutionary trait leftover from when men were hunters and women had to protect the offspring.

Gamblers male or female experience addiction if they don't take proper steps to avoid it. The society today already recognises gambling as some I'll act, so seeing a female who is engaged in gambling already tells more than being irresponsible but not be worthy of taking care of her home. Though this isn't supposed to be so. Regardless of gender anyone is allowed to gamble. So long you are off age and understand the kind of risk that's involved, it's a decision that only you can take. We’re not living in the old century anymore, the world has evolved and so have people. Women have always pushed for equality, so they shouldn’t be judged just because they choose to gamble.

There’s no rule saying gambling is only for men, what really matters is responsibility. As gamblers we’re all expected to play responsibly regardless of gender, and actually, men fail at that sometimes too. So that doesn’t make men better when it comes to gambling, if we’re talking about fairness then women should be free to gamble without being judged for it.

In my location, there are some religious and traditional beliefs that gambling is not a morally acceptable behaviour. Men still gamble openly regardless of these perceptions. Women on the other hand gamble mainly in secret. They either send a trusted relative or friend to place a bet on their behalf in physical betting shops or gamble online secretly.

I have never met a woman who is a gambling addict.  Maybe because I know only a few of them or they can manage their gambling activities better than the men. Women are more financially prudent than men in my view.

A gambler is a gambler be it man or woman it doesn't change anything or make the other gender to be irresponsible. Yes I know so many females that are into gambling in my area they are good at what they do and they have never misbehaved as a result of their gambling habit. Gambling addicts have one thing in common they do not like to be corrected and they believe that the last game they want to play will always give their their total recovery so it's no difference between the male and female gamblers they have no financial management just lie the men.

There is a popular lead and way the society has been picturing young ladies who are into gambling and can also play some popular games that are known for being men's games, which can be played on PS, the popular online Call of Duty, etc. They rate such females to either have too many male friends around them or to have grown up with brothers whose brothers can't allow them to gamble, and in our society today, only a few are beyond how others are thinking, and the rest can just consider such girls to be irresponsible, especially when gambling is involved, and this has made many girls feel insecure talking about their gambling life in public.

Participating in gambling is a personal matter and this personal matter is completely independent and neutral. There is no distinction between men and women, meaning that it is not possible to discriminate between gambling based on gender.

When it comes to gambling addiction their is no better version of it. Whether you are a male of female gambling addiction will always mess one up. I think the general idea the OP is trying to relate with is how female and male gamblers do handle gambling.

Well, I haven’t met many female gamblers, I’ve seen quite a few back then when I did hanged around gambling houses but now, I’m more about playing online. Given how unpopular it is to find female gamblers, I’ll take it that female gamblers would handle gambling far better than the males.

That’s because, the urge to gamble often wouldn’t be there as it’s with the males and unlike males, females aren’t very inclined to loosing money and so, you wouldn’t find them taking much risk and would always learn to cut their losses.

The hustle is not only for male  counterpart  but for the both. The society see them as normal behaviour of the both parties but it is the religious leaders and followers see the female counterpart as the abominable act. Though it surprises people when they see female gambling. Muslim highly forbid but Christianity has a minimal dislike and they can over look the person and move on. But Muslim might sanction the person.
 But there is no big deal in gambling either a female or a male.
