There is no point of avoiding what had been invested in already, it's either I go all in again or I sell at loss. But if depends on the potential of the altcoin I choose. If I have invested in low value coins and the market crashes, I sell off the little available and accept the loss.

If in a high value altcoin while the market stumble, I reorganize myself, gather a fresh USDT, and bag more added to the previous quantity.

If it dips again, I do the same thing by gathering more untill the price gets stronger and creates new ATH.

The surest thing is that majority of the cryptocurrency are very volatile in nature, I have been following altcoins for quite awhile, but i wouldn’t completely invest in altcoins because its a very risky thing to do, but unfortunately I have invested in altcoins and lost some money which is a very terrible investment that I have previously made, but now in the situation that we find ourselves it would be better to stay away from altcoins at this point because most of the cryptocurrency are going down and dipping everyday, so to have rest of mind it’s better to stay away from altcoins you can possibly sell to have rest of mind and focus on buying more bitcoin.

If something is in top 20 rankings for example but goes up and down a lot, then something must be going on and it depends on the reason but I would be fine about it. Fluctuation is what either brings high price or low price of a coin, so it is either way. But what I will consider in the fluctuation is whether the coin is having low price and good utility. I will also consider the exchange that it is listed while fluctuating before I invest in it. Because if the price is still low it means the changes of ROI will be higher with it low volume but if it is fluctuating and has high volume, the chances are higher that it may start to drop. However, my investment will be on short time and ready to dump at anytime that it has reached a reasonable target profit because there is always rug pull in altcoins especially low value coins.
