Genuine Question of A Concerned Newbie.
But I personally smiled when I saw this kind of post from you because it looks like a brand new person is asking such questions. Though what you should have asked first is what the forum topics are like and how things are done there. Anyway, maybe you don’t really know the forum well yet and that is why you are asking.
To earn merit, it is very important to make good quality posts. If you can maintain both quality and quantity while making helpful and informative posts, you will surely get merit. Those who have made 1500+ posts but still did not earn any merit simply failed to make informative posts, and that is why they did not get any merit. Earning merit here is not really a difficult thing because there are many systems around from where merit can be earned easily. If you give time to the forum and make helpful, informative posts, you can get merit and even after making informative posts, you can still post in ways that help you earn merit.
