I remember that Bittensor, the speed of development that increased its price when it was just starting out in the crypto space, and many traders or holders actually made a profit from it because of the performance it showed in the crypto market.

So it is likely that even though its price has dropped significantly, many still believe that its value will still rally if there is a rally in the price value of Bitcoin again,
because it is also one of those that can be considered altcoins in this era.
A project that is "worked on hard, and improved" doesn't equal profit all the time, just because some people work hard on it to try to make it better and they are not scammers, doesn't mean people owe them money and we do not have to buy it.

This is why I honestly think that the best we could do right now would be just hoping that we would make some good money from this and be better in the end, otherwise it will not be that good at all, for any of us. We should hope for a better way out.

Is this it?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monad/

There's a little increase for its market cap but I think that many of the unlocking of their coins doesn't look good when it happens.

Because it's going to be on a dump when that finally happens but, if you consider it as a good investment and you're holding it.

It's your responsibility to DYOR and take profit whenever you can.

Why are people buying layer 1 coins when Ethereum have already fixed the reason for Layer 1 existence, I don't see how they will perform very well anymore like they did in the past. Any new Layer 1 must not be fixing gas fee in 2026, they need someone new and better than what Ethereum already have.
That's because they're looking for a potential growth to what they have found. It's not about the scability of the new project that they have found.

But it's about if it's got the potential to make them money because they think it's too late for altcoins like Ethereum for them to profit.

They're free to choose the asset they want to own and whether they're more concerned with the gas, the layers, or smart contracts, that's up to them.

Now this days, there is always an agenda pushed before people buy into those later 1 cryptos not just a wake up call to buy but this agendas are pushed by the people who already had them before the downsiding  of this cryptos so they make sure the regular people buy it off them by creating false narrative to make sure they buy this coins. So this is reason why people still buy them this days but however some only get involved even tho though they know the risk because they are greedy enough.
