This is the cornerstone of all strategies, and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it. Are you looking for the best odds at bookmakers or on the prediction market? Are you looking for outcomes that you believe are undervalued? Without a clear answer (primarily for yourself) as to why you should win, it will be difficult to call it a strategy.

There is no way you can have high rate of winning a bet when you use a very high odds. Just imagine staking a game with 100 odds and 17 matches and another person that staked a game with 5 odds and 3 matches. The later person has high rate of winning compared to the person that had staked his game with 100 odds and 17 matches. For you to take lower risk when gambling, you need to choose few matches or just a single one and stake it with hoof amount of money. There are gamblers that don't waste time on staking with high odds, what they care about few odds.

ive been around gambling scenes for years including crypto bets and the house edge eats you slow no matter how disciplined you are unless you got real value edge like arb or something

stick to 1-2% bankroll per bet like stadus said your 5-10% is aggressive could rekt you on a bad streak

The most important is that you are gambling responsibly, adding bankroll management to your strategy is going to help you avoid pr reduce losses. A lot of gamblers still don't know the importance of staking low, they stake high because they want to win big amounts but that only increases the risks. in the aspect of big and small odds it is possible to win from either one of them but logically gamblers go for small odds because the risks are low and the chances of winning are quite high compared to big odds.

I usually stake small odds whenever I want a staking power without me taking too much money from my account, because I feel small odds are likely to boom than big odds with plenty matches , with 3 matches and small odd , you may probably get money to play with big odds ,  but why most people fails is because of chasing losses , discipline is very important in gambling, once you lack discipline, it may lead to addiction which is the worst of it .

I congratulate the OP for his winnings, it's not an easy task to have maintained such self discipline when it come to betting. A lot of people have made same decisions and at the end of it could not stand there grounds when the wining  become consistent and feel like staking small is a waste of opportunity of wining big.
This idea is only for the determined discipline persons who are will to stay consistent and are contented with the little they have than looking for much and losing very much.

It takes a lot of discipline not to break your bet strategy, betting on small odds less than 2 odds with small stakes isn't for bettors that are impatient. From the two bets you placed it clearly shows that betting on small odds increases the chances of winning but it doesn't guarantee winning.

You are absolutely correct and when betting with small odds you need to stake with a reasonable amount so that you can be able to see something tangible. When I see someone come up with this challenge for themselves, I always wish them luck because the long term success depends on luck, you might say "after all it's sport betting and it's based on skill" But realistically speaking, you also need s much luck to turn this $100 to a reasonable amount in the future. Someone tried it recently last month still on this board but I think they have lost all the $100 that they started with too. This can be a very good thing because it is not only about the bets made but also consistency is needed here because the situation can be a little and I just salute you who are not too hasty in betting and only doing 1 or 2 bets in the first week is something that may be very difficult for me to do.

I also make small bets even with parlays that I can't pass but to bet on 1 or 2 matches is obviously a very difficult thing for me to do especially when the competition always comes every week with some bets that are very difficult to miss sometimes makes me can't help myself.

This is good mate, all you we just need to implement while gambling is patient and to control out emotions. Without emotional control and patient there's no way we can win a bet. However with patients and not chasing after being rich overnight you might be lucky to achieve your goal in gambe.

That's the actual fact mate, without luck op can not turn a $100 into $110 either. No matter what strategy a gambler may apply, luck is also needed because without it there will always be a loss.

I basically like the idea of s all stake betting as it allows you to have fun while it lasts unlike betting with way too much amout on just one game or bet slip. The only time you enjoy gambling for extended period of time is when you use small stake, if you use big stakes you might end up exhausting your budgeted amount for gambling for the month and that means you're not going to gamble until your next salary comes or you're going to need gambling outside your budget which is a bad decision.

Discipline is important in gambling. I have deposited an amount I wanted to use to gamble for onw month in a casino.  But I ended up gambling with all of the money in one day. That day I was gambling with a prediction I got from someone. He encouraged me to increase my bets because they game was sure. I ended up losing all my monthly gambling deposit in one day. Discipline helps one to follow your gambling plans and budget no matter how the game turn out.

I'm a big fan of sport betting, especially big stake on small odd that's how i win most of the time. If you want to be greedy then add more games in a parlay to win huge amount. Those games don't really turn successful because the odds chosen are too risky. Most persons that have bet with way more than they have is at higher risk because no bet is certain.
