Could it be that
howardsentell's account got a temporary ban? Not solid evidence, but as he's
quite often posting daily that account went silent on March 8
th. Of course, everybody benefits from some digital detox, be it self chosen or forced upon; it's only little more than two days and nobody is obliged to post daily but his account has been "active" today, so something must be restraining him, where restraint isn't quite his forté.

here which made me curious to look around a bit.
Unfortunately the forum only indicates a temporary signature ban on a user's profile page and to my knowledge no temporary bans. I didn't see anything about a temporary ban on his
BPIP profile page either (likely not indicated). There doesn't seem to be anything on Mod/Security log, too.
I know I can see permanently banned users with the BPIP browser extension. Any reason why temporary bans are not shown for an user by the forum software?
