The US and Israel have been allies for many years, both of them have something to gain if they are to defeat Iran.
The mutual interest has to do with both religion and terror. If the US and Israeli defeats Iran, they will take charge of their land and weapons.
I do not think anyone is a master of the other. They are both in one accord, till the end of the war.

It is true both Israel and the United States have something to earn from the fall of the regime in Iran. The United States would have access to one of the biggest energy reserves in the middle east, while Israel would get rid of the biggest existential threat they have as state.

Obama did not "fund" the Iranian government lol, he repaid a decades-long settlement regarding a failed arms deal between the Shah of Iran and the US, it amounted to 1.7 billion USD (1.3 billion of them being interest payment). He also lifted sanctions off of Iran that allowed them to access their OWN wealth amounting to 50-100 billion USD; again, THEIR money, not the taxpayer's money, and back then, Iran was compliant with the JCPOA deal that was brokered by Obama to never develop nuclear weapons. A deal that they held throughout the Obama administration and a little while during the first Trump administration before he revoked the deal and sanctioned the shit out of Iran.

For the billionth time, no one supports Khamenei, but the only people who should decide whether he is to be ousted or not are IRANIANS, not the US nor Israel.
