I won't say the internet is the safest place to make money. It would be illogical owing to the fact that people lose money online a lot. I'd rather say it's the easiest way to make money in the current generation.. you can simply sit at the comfort of your home, from your laptop and mobile and make more money than someone who has a 9-5 job.. but then I agree with you on the part that even as easy as it is, it comes with a lot of risk. Many have been exposed to scam, hacks and social harassment. The moment you choose this path, you expose your privacy to the world though it depends on the kind of online job you take part in.

That’s the wrong narrative that is spread I think both the safest and the most easiest means is actually subjective too because it depends on the type of job you’re actually doing, yes for me easiest way to make money it is also the easiest way to lose it. They can be some jobs in 9-5 that are definitely more safer and even less tasky than internet jobs which you do from home. Because even the jobs from home most can actually have some time limits where you even spend 15 hours on the system.

For example one can actually say trading is a good way to earn money and might be tricky and also a very easy way to lose money again so it actually goes both ways

Having financial freedom in most cases is not tied to your privacy, your privacy sometimes is your identity and what makes you secluded to have the best form of life and achieving some certain success is how you keep your things private. The best of achievements are those done with smart move and not done publicly for others to know. Some scarifies are not worth doing no matter what, so sacrificing my privacy for financial freedom will need to be checked into and not just go ahead to lose it because of financial freedom. Some financial freedom that comes at a cost is not worth sacrificing your privacy for.

I wouldn't do something if it means compromising my personal life. I would rather live a simple and peaceful life, even if it means not having financial freedom.

Believe it, not everyone can achieve financial freedom, but those people remain positive in their finances, in their personal and social matters, and I think that's how life should be.

After all, financial freedom is not certainly a must option, but its someone's choice. But it will never mean that if you can't target financial freedom, living life would be useless and meaningless then. There's always more valuable than financial freedom itself.

If there is privacy, then its good to say that we are also living in peace and security. Otherwise, once privacy will be at risk, in order to gain financial freedom, I don't see living a good and secured life anymore.

However, I also understand other people's point of view. Financial freedom is their ultimate goal why they keep hustling all the time. And if they see a perfect opportunity to make it possible, even if they risk their personal life, their privacy and peace, that would be fine for them. Life is a choice, and so they will live their life's priorities.

There are other opportunities that doesn't have to disclose our personal information and matters in life. I'll choose to go private while earning enough for myself and to put food in the table for my family.

I am sure that there are ways that can someone reach financial freedom and independence without having the need to sacrifice their personal life.

If they're able to do it, there can be also a way for us to do it. I know that there can be survivorship bias but that's what I believe is possible for me too.

That's a good question. A lot of vlogger are showing their families, and they are showing nonsense content and they are getting views, earning a lot of money but I don't think they are financially free, they still have to work, make videos, edit and post it for their followers if they want to keep making money, although their old videos if are still getting views could make them money but not for too long.

Financial freedom is like not going to work, not caring about the job, not doing anything, getting passive income and living your life on it. So an influencer or anyone you have mentioned can't be financially free, they have to make a lot of money and start a business that can make them a good amount of profit over the years, and they will hire managers to manage everything and won't have to care or work anymore.

It depends on the content I am sharing, there are a lot who don't share a lot, they never show the faces of their babies and wives, they have not shown what their personal life is and they are still making content and earning money, maybe less than those who don't but they are making and they can also achieve this status.

I have had plans of doing content creation telling the public about recovering from mental health issues caused by drugs addiction, my personal experience I had in mind to share, but something inside me always telling me to restrict from that career, I got the intuitive feelings that I'll get trapped by the government official saying that I am reducing their market of the drugs to low. That those benefiting from drugs business will literally find me and kill me silently.

The risk involve in this content is quite expensive and so I got into my shelve to observe the outcome before I could embark on the journey, it would be a good one but the risk scares me.

As for privacy, people refer to different things as private; even the well-known "private part" (genitals) is no longer private to some, so privacy now means different things for people. Information you consider too sensitive to share online may be something someone else easily shares.

Even with how robust the internet has become (able to withstand the traffic and acomodat everyone in its ecosystem) and yet you still think that people have to sacrifice all of these things that you listed before they can get financial freedom? In this era, you don't have to sacrifice all those things unless you just willingly want to take the risk and do it, there are several opportunities to uncover which you don't need to reveal your identity, what you need to sacrifice is time and your knowledge. Some people have faceless channels on some social media and they are making money from the AI animated. Content that they posting on those channels, some people are bloggers, content writers, traders, and many more areas to focus on with just dedicating your time and knowledge, not personal life.

I still don't understand how these influencers can make so much money. There are some with millions of followers, yet I'm seeing them for the first time. There must be many others I've never seen before. I can't understand when all these people became influencers or who exactly they are influencing. Sometimes I check their profiles and they're full of ads. Why would someone willingly expose themselves to that many advertisements? Especially when there isn't even any good content being produced.

This isn't something I would do, but I also don't think people who make serious money from this care much about their privacy.

Before you would want to put on such information on the internet especially in social media, you should know what the consequences is, it's not like your ignorant of what the outcome is. If you're giving out information on the internet and the aim is to make money then I really don't see any problem with it because you know what it entails, they say you should not be ashamed of what brings food to your table. The internet is a virtual society that people look out for what will entertains them or give them some sense of humor or even educational content, so if based on the information your giving out and people have trusted your resolve and your earning money from it, I really don't see any problem with that.

Something that all of us will benefit should be a struggle for all as well, though we are not expected to rely on what other makes a smooth towards anything they sit for themselves, rather we are expected to determine by how we want to see things happen on our own, you can see that today, everyone is only fighting for their own personal self with their own individual interest and know that it wasn't as before that there is a fight for public interest, except for free who still remains committed to this struggles.

Me? big NO, but we gotta respect other people's perspective and hustle. These influencers/vloggers may have exposed their private lives, but some of it may be lies, which I think is necessary to gain more subscribers and keep the engagement going.
After all, it is their lives that they're living, so they gotta face the risks on their own as well. Also, vlogging alone and exposing your private life, personal, and financial information on the internet doesn't guarantee you financial freedom.

I believe the majority of the people in this community value privacy more than anything else. Especially since we are dealing with finances, which transaction is irreversible and can be stolen from us online.
There are a lot of ways to earn online to bring us closer to financial freedom without compromising much of our sensitive information, so I continue to follow this path.

You use Internet to search for the opportunities to make money and you can use it with secret without anyone knows.

What's the connection between financial freedom and sacrificing privacy? Sacrificing privacy to become an online media personality doesn't necessarily mean financial freedom. In some Nordic countries, tax authorities have begun scrutinizing bloggers and identifying tax violations in order to extract money from them. I don't think this is what one would call financial freedom. Incidentally, one blogger even faced criminal charges (unfortunately, I don't know how it all ended, as I didn't follow the rest of the story). This can lead to the loss of not only financial but also physical freedom (but this is perhaps an exception).

If you look at the opposite phenomenon, when people simply post all their information about themselves (for free) on social media, you can't help but wonder: why not monetize it?

Actually, financial freedom isn't tied to sacrificing privacy, as it's possible to have sources of income without becoming an online media personality.

No doubt about this, many people are going extra mile just to become popular or to make money and in the process they don't care if their privacy is exposed or can be used against them. But the truth is that everyone are not thesame. Since I am not a social media type, I don't think I can't go as far as revealing my privacy to make money, But those who are benefiting from it can do anything for the money. And the funny part is that some people don't have privacy anymore because they have sold their privacy for money, thinking that everything is Money. Sometimes I see couples doin crazy think without shame on social media because of fame and money. I wounder what they will explain to their children when they see their children going astray.

Never, even if you build enough wealth to be financially be free, there are certain groups of people like the hidden billionaires you would not have access to as being a regular influencer. They are very discriminative about who the people they choose to be with. You cannot access the Old money people, and the generational wealth individuals, as they prefer a more quiet and hidden life. Sure you can lay low as soon as you get rich, but there will still be data about you, hidden somewhere in the internet. And when time comes, those data will resurface and come to go against you. There are secret hackers, governments, Intelligence companies gathering your data, and the more you expose your data, the more they will have information about you. What kind of personality you have, how you think, how you make decisions. That way, competitors will have a way in outcompeting you.

Thats why theres a saying, the real threats are those who you do not know are threats. So its better to build a steady foundation first in wealth, you will still get rich either way even if you dont show your face online.

I don't know about any influencers or online entrepreneurs, who are publicly revealing their sensitive personal information all over the internet. Information such as social security number, home address, phone number(this isn't so sensitive info, but whatever). You can make money online without having to reveal such sensitive data. Someone could reveal your private info without you necessarily being involved in an online business. I understand that online doxxing is a major issue, but the people, who were doxxed aren't such a big amount. There are services like Deleteme, who can help you delete all your sensitive info, which is posted online. I haven't used such online service, but I might try it in the near future.
