Not to input your seed phrase again but to check where you kept it. But to login your wallet to know if your coins are saved.
Although there is no need to check repeatedly, I sometimes log in to my wallet with my wallet seed phrase and see if everything is okay. Maybe many people may find this system a lot of hassle but I don't find it a hassle I check it occasionally. I have written down my wallet seed phrase in my notebook so there is no chance of making a mistake but when I want to see the bitcoins held in my wallet then I log in and it doesn't seem like a hassle at all to me in fact it feels more secure to me because I can log in and be 100% sure that my wallet is safe.

I would say simply not. You don't need to check "once a while"... Roll Eyes
if your seed/phrases has been tested one time (how it should be initially) what should be the sense to test every...week/or month? it could change something?
the same tested words would stop to recover an address? ... imagine people using many address/chains/channel payments... no one could this to (and has not sense... coins are make to be stored not to be verified "once on a while").
login to wallet? Roll Eyes you can just sign an offline message and see if everything is working fine. nothing more nothing less.
I would avoid to use any key/seed in online machine for "verifying" whatever it is still working.

Yeah, just make sure you have the phrase or can recreate it somehow.

I don't think we need to regularly log in to our wallet, it can make us panic or obsess over it.
Maybe periodically checking where you saved it is fine, but IMO, twice a year is enough.  I know it's in a safe place and no one knows where I kept it.

All I can say is if you barely check your wallet phrase or log in, it's less stressful.
Frequent checks can make you rush into selling all your Bitcoin.  Continuous attention to small price moves can distract from long-term goals.

So, I think there's no reason to check your wallet frequently.  As long as you know your credentials are secure and safe, that's good enough.
You can check your wallet address occasionally to confirm your Bitcoin is still there.

You mean you need a seed phrase every time you want to check your balance? What wallet are you using?

Logically, how does a seed phrase change when it's manually written on the platform? I think you're worrying too much. If your seed phrase worked (before it was funded), it should be fine forever. Unless this worry stems from your inability to recognize your own writing style.
Your choice, your risk, at least that's what I'm trying to convey.

Each time you log in your wallet, and connect it to Internet for checking the wallet balance, it's one more risky time your wallet can be compromised. This practice is bad if it is for checking whether your bitcoins are still there in that wallet. You can check it with block explorers, more easily, and more secure for your fund.

You don't want to be hacked like this. Checking more times will cause more risk of hacks.

There are lot of stories coming to our ears and eyes to see about people misplacing their seed phrase and lost their bitcoins forever. But if they were at least once a week or Month login to their wallets to check if everything is alright and also check the physical saved seed phrase is in good condition.
If the purpose of the monthly login is for updating the app/wallet software, I will agree with you, because anything aside from that could lead to the exposure of the wallet to danger that comes with humans error.
I believe it is better to monitor the wallet without logging in, and use multiple backups of the wallet seed phrase ( using offline storage like metal plates, and separate geographical locations).

As you said, it's up to each individual to take this advice or not, as each individual is responsible for their own assets. However, it's important to understand that, as some users have said, logging in too frequently can increase the security risk. So, it's best to avoid logging in too frequently --- and even if you do keep a backup of your seed phrase, it's best to choose a place you trust and that's secure, and use a secure medium like steel plates, to avoid having to check it too often and unwanted damage.
