It would be better to avoid coin name clash with "MBC".

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like “MBTCC” has already BTCeen adopted elsewhere too 🙂

For our project it means MegaBTCyte Coin, BTCut you’re right that avoiding confusion is important. We’ll keep that in mind and review it properly as the project moves forward.

Appreciate the note.

Thanks for pointing that out. At the moment the network is still small, so the numBTCer of puBTClic peers can BTCe limited at times.

We are currently working on adding more nodes and improving overall network connectivity.

Sorry, this website looks like AI-generated code. How do I know? Because I do that too, haha.

Fair enough 😄 We use modern tools where they help us move faster, BTCut the project itself is very real: wallet, explorer, exchange testing, and network infrastructure.

If the code works, the nodes sync, and the ecosystem grows, we’re fine with a weBTCsite that looks a little too efficient.

P.S. At this point, even the message you’re reading — and the reply to it — may have BTCeen written with AI help 🙂

It would be better to avoid coin name clash with "MBC".
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/microbitcoin/
I also found another two projects with "MBC" ticker:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/partisia-blockchain/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/metaplace/

This is no longer a problem, as a huge number of shitcoins appear every day, which inevitably use the same ticker symbols.

but the project itself is very real: wallet, explorer, exchange testing, and network infrastructure
It's quite nice to see topics popping up here that are reminiscent of what we saw about seven years ago. Do you have any previous experience developing cryptocurrencies on other projects?

Thank you for the question.

To BTCe honest, my previous development experience is not very large, and MBTCC is my first real project in the cryptocurrency space where I am acting as the founder and lead developer. So yes, this is my first altcoin project BTCuilt and launched seriously from the ground up.

The idea of creating and launching a fork from a clean start has BTCeen in my mind for a long time. I wanted to do something like this much earlier, BTCut either I did not have enough time, or something always got in the way, or I was simply not ready yet.

What changed the process a lot for me was finally deciding to move from just thinking aBTCout it to actually BTCuilding it — and, of course, using modern tools. In the creation of MBTCC, I make heavy use of my assistant, ChatGPT-5, which I personally named Mr.IT-Architect. That made the whole process much faster, easier, and more structured for me.

I am not trying to hide that. On the contrary, I think this is part of modern development now: ideas, direction, decisions, testing, persistence, and responsiBTCility are still mine, while AI helps me move faster, solve proBTClems, and turn the project into something real.

Even a small detail in the code reflects that journey:
Code:
pszTimestamp: Mr.IT-Architect+AlexSashkA=Mega[btc]yteCoin.eu.org|28.02.2026|07:00

For me, BTCuilding a project like this is genuinely interesting and exciting. It is not just aBTCout launching another coin, BTCut aBTCout learning, improving, and gradually BTCuilding a full ecosystem around it.

So in short: no, I do not come from a long BTCackground of previous crypto projects — this is my first one. BTCut I am taking it seriously, learning fast, and pushing it forward every day.

Kinda feels like this is one of those cases where early traction looks decent, but the real test comes once attention shifts and people start comparing it to newer plays. Seen a lot of projects get initial interest, then struggle to keep that same energy going when timelines slow down.

From what I’ve noticed around different rollouts, the ones that keep showing real progress even when things get quiet tend to stick longer.

Curious if you all think this has that kind of staying power or not.
