The auction idea is a good one. It's a way to get people trading on the same asset in an otherwise sparse market where it is hard to find a buyer and seller on the same terms at the same time.

I'd suggesting offering a few different strike prices and expirations to keep it interesting, but not too many, again don't want to dispersed the market too much.

The smallest unit should be whatever you think is worth the trouble of administering it.

Also, in terms of structure there are volumes that can and have been written about auction formats, but generally I prefer a best price auction where all winning bidders pay the lowest winning bid. You get a bit less payment from the highest bidders, but you also encourage higher bids since they risk less (avoiding winner's curse).

I am also looking for a futures contract with someone to maintain the USD value of BTC regardless of price fluctuations while obviously keeping BTC in BTC and not USD. Propose a way to do this if you can think of one.

I can't offer future contracts, but you can use the platform icbit.se (or something like that). They are pretty solid.

I could do that, but you wouldn't like the premium I guess. Post what details your are looking for in the put.

Also call option for darkcoin, strike price of 0.009 for darkcoin if you'd offer it (doubt it though). Euro style.

Style: Put european
Days 30
Settlement: BTC

I can't do darkcoin, implied/real volatility must be in the middle tripple digits...

Example for settlement.

1 BTC option worth means -->  1/currentltcprice = 1/0.0239 = 41.84LTC
Lets say price is at 5$ on settlement day.  4.5*41.84 = 188.28$ = what I owe you, paid in BTC.

The offer you made for the litecoin put said you only do american style, might want to edit your post to whichever one you truly only do.

0.2275 BTC / 1 BTC option
5 BTC max.

PS: for close-to-at-the-money options my prices are pretty high because my calculations have a big skewing parameter. You might like the prices for >20% away strikes more I guess.
