We already have casino mobile app, but are the casino apps for smartwatches ?

Just imagine seeing someone sitting in a park, pinching their eyes, or even wearing their trusty eyewear 'cause they can barely see what's on that tiny screen, playing slots on their smartwatch. 

Most people nowadays have smartphones (especially those who can afford a smartwatch), but would they really want to play on the small screen of a smartwatch rather than on a much bigger smartphone? 'Cause that sounds really inconvenient, IMO. Not to mention, you could easily mess up your bets - fat fingers.  Probably one of the reasons why casinos and gambling companies didn't bother creating an app tailored specifically for smartwatches is because they know there isn't a market for it.

I dont think it is hard to create such app that will allow to play some simple games. Games like Dice, Crash, Blackjack, simplified slots will fit for little screen. What do you think about that? Hmmm... I wonder what the user experience on those mini screens would look and feel like. Already, playing a casino game on a mobile device which has a small screen, is not a great experience, talk about having it on a mini/micro screen. It will not appeal to the sane and responsible gambling audience and maybe everyone as a whole because gambling should be a fun, relaxing, and entertaining activity and not look like you are struggling to have it.

I believe if there will be a party develop it. I'm sure none will use it. I see it as a non sense idea.

Maybe someday someone would come up with smart ring or necklaces, then there would be request for casino apps in those gadgets, truly the wants of humans is so insatiable cause we're not done with using gadgets like smartphones, laptops etc now they're talking of gambling apps for smartwatches, what a joke!

This is very interesting like the idea isn't that bad but it has a little challenge, you know that smart watch screen is very small and it not like that of phone, so casino on it will not really go smoothly on it. But in simple games it might work it the demand is being made and not only this many people will prefer phone because it's more comfortable and flexible.

Maybe it will be possible in the future, but for now I don't think it will work and it still depends too on whether people wants it or not

Hmm, this is a very niche market given that the UI of smart watches are relatively small which makes it difficult to create something out of it. I mean, I am not discounting the possibility of it happening but the chances of it happening is very slim at the moment.

Think of it this way- whenever you use your smart watch, it is also very likely that you would use your mobile phone with it. In that regard, there is a higher chance of you doing all the things that you have to do on your mobile phone instead of your smart watch.

Lastly, I would also argue that creating a mobile application of gambling in smart watches can be costly and it’s just not that worth it at the moment. I do hope that gambling companies would consider it but chances are slim from the looks of it.

There are specific apps designed for smart watches but I don't think you can run casino apps on these watches, and no matter how big the watch might be the display is another thing you should consider, there would be a lot of struggle to navigate and select the options that you want. I'm not entirely sure if such apps can be used on these smart watches and even if they are the display would be too tiny.

There are already games adjusted for smartwatches, so it wouldn't be surprising if there are gambling games adapted for smartwatches. As for casinos having apps for smartwatches, that's possible too, but if you ask me, that's just too much. I feel like even if they made their app compatible with smartwatches, it would still be a hassle to navigate and play casino games.

The creation of the Blockchain network on which Bitcoin as a digital currency exist without a physical office like banks or third party intermidiaries and other qualities, made me understand that there is nothing developers and coders can't do.
Am sure such kind of smartwatches already exist and maybe more tailored to fit the display size of these watches with maybe a one-tap or finger-play control.
It may not be as digital devices have their own interface but different with maybe specific games designed for this need.

My concern though is that the battery efficiency may become a problem and since it may need internet service, it may also require a Bluetooth function for connecting, can adapt to eye range with sound effects and am certain with all these imputed, the smartwatch may become bulky or a bit heavy and may be a health hazard for some.

It might certainly be okay for some simple games, but I think people would still prefer smartphones or computers for convenience. Besides, I suppose they would have to use other devices to top up their bankroll or use store balances. But the major brands for these watches surely follow strict rules about what can and can't be installed on them, and it's not technically profitable for them at all.

Perhaps if there is a new innovation this could happen but honestly it doesn't seem too convenient to play gambling on the smartwatch we have.
The screen is too small for me especially when we play in casino games such as original and slot games it is a little annoying especially for those who have poor eyesight.

So maybe this is also a consideration why until now we don't find this although maybe this can also be an alternative for those who want to do gambling anywhere but at this time it seems like being on the site with a gadget or smartphone is already a solution so trying on a smartwach is not really considered.

How big can the screen of a smart watch be that can be compatible and comfortable for gambling, what will the slot machine look like in such screen, it going to create a joke of the gambler if they decide to install gambling apps on their smart watch even if their configuration can take such apps.

I completely agree with you. After laptop, the best device that I have used to gamble before is a tablet, but i have used mobile phones the most because it is the device that is mostly close to me most of the time, unlike the others. Smartwatch can be close to me like phone but not really, but the main disadvantage is that I will prefer to use it for notifications than to use it to gamble. The screen is small while phone screen is better but I prefer bigger screen. Even if it can be as big like a monitor or TV, I will prefer it instead.

Come to think of it, I wonder how entertaining it would be. I don't think even a regular game would fit in a smart watch. There's no fun in playing ok such tiny screen and let's not forget here that you can make mistakes while playing using tiny screen and end up losing funds on the line. It's just better to play on your mobile phone instead. Most players even prefer watching their games from big screens. Though its same games, same casino, but the overall experience is usually different and good. I do like your idea as there's every possibility to consider it . But players would also want to consider comfort while playing on the casino. It would be totally stressful..

I can imagine how small the interface will be if there is a mini-app that can fit in smartwatches. However, it is possible to have a mobile app, but that's not basically the function of smartwatches, and I, as a gambler who loves to enjoy my activities in an online casino, smartwatches can't give me that entertainment I want because the resolution is low due to the screen size.

I’m not in for the gaming aspect, as the screen is already discouraging but..
How about having an integration for cash out notification on it, should allows users to accept or reject with extra confirmation to prevent possible wrong choices .

It will be quite useful to monitor such notifications without having to hold and keep on checking from our mobile devices from time to time.

Any  similar notifications that could also fit?

I'm a fan of casinos' mobile apps, which is what I prefer using over the web, except when I'm using a PC, but the smartwatch screen is very small; maybe that's why the demand for it has not really been that much, and we can only see more of its prototype, and many casinos don't even still see the need to have an app, so I don't think some will also make the move to have a smartwatch-compatible app, unless there is a rising demand for it.

This smart watch technology that supports casino app might probably be existing but not to my awareness or experience yet.
However, that would be an indeed a great advancement of not the technology itself but the casinos being too unrelenting from the casinos being eager to feature their gaming accessibility on every internet connection devices like the smart watch.

Hey, that technology for this era seems too quick and does not seem interesting to me for now because I am better comfortable with the mobile accessibility technology.
Like the first replier had said, the smart watch could course sight effect due to the size of the operating display screen.

I see hear that people can actually go an extra mile just to gamble.
