We don't know when we'll get lucky, but it's highly discouraged to continue gambling for any purpose, whether to recoup losses, chase wins, or seek fortune. Luck isn't something you can chase, so we shouldn't chase it but let it come to us naturally. I agree with you; when we're lucky, we don't need to chase it. In any type of game, even outside of gambling, we'll get the results we desire, even if the amount or scale is small. Those who don't rely on luck are probably those who enjoy gambling with games that require skill.
Desiring a result that is unrealistic in our everyday work is possible in gambling but, chasing it in itself is where most persons get it wrong because, it’s what luck can only serve you. Yes, you can target it but, you must be open to a lot of losses too and know that, you would lose quite a lot and still might not reach that target. Hence, you would be better off, gambling well within limits, known that losses is very much part of the game.
This means that it is important to be able to afford to lose money because every bet is full of uncertainty and you may not win even if you gamble for a long time. The imperfection of daily aspirations cannot be defined in any heading. Most of what you expect will be beyond your reach but your efforts to win are wrapped in luck. Being prepared for losses in gambling is a good example for most gamblers but they often make mistakes due to overconfidence. They think they are capable of winning and have made their bets based on analysis but forget about luck.
It is not really okay because you are winning at the moment because gambling is not really okay because most of the time the wins are temporary, they are not the result of a consistent winning streak, but instead, results of luck. As stated, luck is unforeseeable and uncontrollable, and one may soon get disappointed when they rely on it. Most gamblers tend to lose their head and think they are on a winning spree when they are on a winning streak, this is dangerous. Pursuing larger payoffs or having unrealistic ambitions normally lead to losses. One should be disciplined and should learn to lose because that is part of gambling and should only gamble with the money they can lose.
