Withdraw is what I will do if I win big. Haha yes "cashing out" or "raising the bet" , I totally understand the situation and it's really confusing , for me personally I usually stop for a moment and think then remember about what I currently need in life and I also think about whether I can accept the consequences when I don't withdraw the winnings and bet bigger, and if for example there are needs that I have to fulfill then usually I will withdraw 80% of the winnings to fulfill my living needs and the rest I use again to gamble but if for example there are no needs and I am ready to accept the consequences at the end of the game then I will continue.

It depends of how big the win actually is. Is it a big win, or is it a HUGE win?
If I ever win let's say a thousand dollars in one day(which isn't big), my first thought would be to withdraw immediately(if the casino/bookies let me withdraw immediately). But there's always that thought of "today is my lucky day, maybe I could use my luck once again and turn those 1K USD into 10K or 100K". This is not so much greed but more like a sudden confidence in my luck. That particular thought might eventually lead to losing all my previous profits, because luck isn't consistent and winning big once doesn't mean that I would win big for the second time, right after the first win. If I am being completely honest, I will go for more bets rather than withdrawing it completely, and I will continue to do that until I feel that I am not getting any more luck on the day.

Now I have a better approach to gambling than before and yes I’ve learned some lessons along the way. I honestly think that we should give a number on this, to make sure we know exactly how much we are talking about. Because "big" is different for everyone, so we should consider "income" as calculation. So if you win 1 month of income worth, keep betting that for long term (not all at once, like take months to bet that much, a year if possible, but keeping it in and not depositing for a year and just gamble with that is fine) whereas if we are talking about 1 years worth of income, then withdraw is smarter.

I can't really understand the mindset of if you win big then your luck ends there, what is it is just the beginning of an avalanche? I’m someone who can just decide to call it a quit as soon as I’m able to hit x2, so if I’m gambling and I managed to hit a big win, I don’t really think that’s something that I’m going to struggle with,  my answer is obvious, I’m going to withdraw instantly an come back after a few days to continue with my gambling activities.
