Which review website to use when checking new casino?

Trustpilot is just one place that is built to encourage manipulation, and even for business owners whose products are listed there, they have some kind of privilege to filter comments if they are willing to pay. Another thing too that can be found very questionable is the amount of good reviews some products do have on Trustpilot; who exactly has the time to finish using a product and go straight to a review site to rate it highly? Only a few people could have such time; aside from reviewing in this forum, I question every other place.

Review sites can be questionable but there are still some that have built their reputation on providing solid technical and real insight analysis into a casino site operations and design.
This forum for one and others like Casino guru, AskGamblers, Wizard of Odds or known as Michael Bluejay, Reddit, Casinomeister exist to provide the kind of solid and indepth review you might be looking for.

Still, for someone who has been enlightened here enough on several casinos in the gambling section, using a review site or just logging in upon registration and scanning through the interface design, should give you enough information already on if the site is legit or just a hype kind of marketing gimmick by this casino just to get customers.
If there is no negative comment on the review page, if there is no licensing stamp or sign of it being licensed, if their payout information is just too vague to comprehend, then such is a sign of a bad casino platform and that is enough review in itself as an old timer.

To be honest, I don't trust any review site. In terms of casino sites, I gamble on a few trusted sites regularly. They provide me with good service. I can withdraw money instantly. Deposits are credited very quickly. Customer support responds very quickly. So why should I gamble on a new site? If I like a game on a new site, I look for that game on the old sites. If it's not there, I wait for the site to gradually become popular. Then I use it. And if there is a promotion for that site on this forum, I can easily see honest reviews of that site from forum users. Then I consider it suitable for use.

On the other hand - 1 star reviews were lenghty, detailed and argumented and that shared similar experience of lenghty withdrawals and misleading practices. They were usually followed by AI generated response of casino representative. My guess is that they bought reviews as they have much better Trustpilot score than other much more trustworthy casinos.

That being said I find this forum much better than Trustpilot as it has knowledgable community that quickly reacts to scams and shady practices.

Sites like TrustPilot are simply filled with paid reviews; this is obvious and easy to read, and as the author pointed out, only negative reviews will be described in the greatest possible detail.

To be honest I don't use reddit so I don't know how good reviews there are, but I will check it out. I guess sites like these, where users have hundreds or tousands of posts in their post history, are much more relevant than websites that are dedicated to reviews only where users have much less activity. There are several casino review websites and I think not all the review sites are trusted. Some of the reviews you see on these casino sites can be deceptive. There are factors we should consider while choosing the right Casio to use, and anyone with this qualities can be considered worthy to be used . While choosing a casino site, licensing in their area of operation is necessary and I think this is what a good casino should do first, deposit and and withdrawal information should also be made clear.
Some of the the casino review websites am familiar with is Tribuna and MBS Expert. These sites casino review websites that can give you good review about a casino site. However, this particular forum can play a major role because even though a casino site is new, there are gamblers here who must have tested it to.
While we talk about review websites here, sometimes this testing can be done by us instead of wholly relying on this review website that we are not sure of.

Currently I can't guaranteed you of any review site other than here because through the responses and how they handle urgency could make me believe that such casino is good enough to use. Although, you can actually look over their Ann thread to see how much attention they have given to their users and how often they do attention to any matter that arises from their users. With this, you can easily know the casino that are good enough to be used especially when they are getting low scam accusations unlike other gambling sites that has higher scam accusations over here.

Trustpilot has long been considered a poor platform for checking casino reputations. There are so many fake reviews that make clearly dangerous casinos appear trustworthy.

I rely on this forum to check for reputable casinos. While it's not a review platform, many users can provide honest reviews of casinos --- especially those that have been running their signature campaigns here for years, which is a plus for me.

I'm a fan of Reddit too for getting good reviews, but not until I notice they also have some people who run some kind of campaign for positive Reddit reviews, but it's still not as bad as Trustpilot, and since comments are open to all, just like this forum, you can also easily see bad reviews and bashing from other news when there is something not aligning said about a particular product.

From the beginning, ever since the paid review trend started, I’ve been a bit skeptical about any review site out there except this forum. In the gambling section it is one of the main reasons I look for real feedback from users who have actually tried those sites. Even if some people have already tested them and left positive reviews I do not trust them right away. I prefer to start with a small deposit and try the site myself a few times first.

So basically this forum is the best place for me to find genuine reviews.

However, I am fully aware that these review websites cannot be totally trusted. Some of these websites exist for profit-making. They might give preference to casinos that sponsor or support them. Secondly, just as you observed, some of these reviews by users can be fake.

My best source of information about crypto casinos is on this forum. Fraudulent casinos can be easily identified in this forum. There will always be scam accusations against them if they are fraudulent. I get information about fiat casinos from other sources.

Trustpilot is not longer reliable at all. Trust any review there is at your own risk because they are paid review.
Hardly you trust any review site on the internet these days. I will recommend the forum, Wagerx and Bitlist.
The forum is the best place to know if a casino is reliable. Fake casino wont last up to two weeks here before they are fetched out.
Lastly, reddit is a good place to get good reviews. Before I joined the forum, Reddit is the home full of solid information.

Well, I currently have no other review site I trust and depend on when it comes to finding out how trustworthy a casino is aside from this forum, I am very happy that this forum can act as a review site too, even if the casino in question is not officially listed and available on this forum, simply get the name of the casino and create a thread about them asking the gambling community here what they think about the casino, you will definitely find some person who must have played on the casino giving an honest review, some forum users too are so talented that they can even look into the casino's code, registration, terms and conditions to compare with other casinos to tell whether it's copied or not etc from all of this, they can tell if the casino is a potential scam casino or legit one..

I stopped trusting in reviews from trustpilot because I realize that casinos could buy positive ratings and reviews from the platform, and some casinos also deliberately run a trustpilot five star rating and review campaign, paying participant to leave a 5 star rating and good reviews for their casino on trustpilot, all this make trustpilot untrustworthy as a review platform.

Bitcointalk, for the most and I am not searching for other casinos out there and only use the casino listed here. I can read the honest reviews from members and discuss to the rep or ask for help if we have a problem. But Efialtis and Gamblingbro could be the next site that you can use to have honest reviews as he have good reputations to only choose the right casinos. I don't advice you to search for casinos out there as we don't know how good they are.

The other sites you mentioned dont have strict punishment for fake casinos. Both reliable and unreliable casinos have their way on the site. Meaning the gambler has to be the one to filter what casino is reliable and what casino is a fraud after reading through the review. Unlike the bitcointalk forum, where any casino in the scam accusation thread that has been flagged is no-no for both new and old gamblers. The bitcointalk is the most reliable place to cehck new caisno.

I have not been using review websites lately when assessing new casino, I rely mostly on this forum for information and experience of other players with the casino. I think this is better than relying on review websites, most of which are paid to write good reviews since they don't even have sufficient experience with the website they are review apart from the general information that is available to the public. A good casino will not take time to be known from their operations because people will always have nice things to say in this forum.

I don't evaluate, I simply minimize risks
- don't use a new casino with more money than you could afford to throw down the toilet
- don't hold more money on a new casino than you can afford to use, even if it's not brand new
- if you know you live in a bad jurisdiction where most casinos don't hold a license, go for another one right away don't push your luck

One more thing, I never leave more than ~ $1000 on a crypto casino, I win more, I withdraw it, I lose what I have there, I fund it again and so on, it's so easy to fund an account in minutes it makes no sense staking money there.

In 2026, I think no one should deposit in any casino platform based only on casino review sites, because right now no casino review site is transparent, they buy paid reviews which result in new gamblers fall in scams, because those who don't know about forum, they only have to rely on casino review sites, so they often can't find out fake reviews, I followed trustpilot & casino guru a few years ago. I used to believe these two sites, but later I found many fake paid reviews on those sites. So everyone should avoid these review sites.
