heyy everyone, i am new to Bitcoin and not expert, just learning. i saw many scams like ponzi, fake airdrops, and phishing links. how can i protect myself from these traps? please share real life examples you or others met and how you handled them. for example i scammed in bitcoin casino site.
also i got confused with wallet seed words, i saved photo on phone is that bad? 
i clicked a link in telegram and lost small amount, very sad. 
i want simple steps, not technical big words. If you are in crypto space you have to be so careful because scatter are just everywhere, and mostly they are always targeting newbies because they believe they are the ones that will fall for their tricks easily.
To avoid phishing link scam, make sure you don’t click on random links which you see, make sure you make verification before clicking on link. Make sure you avoid all this airdrops, most airdrops which you going to see now are just fake, so it’s better you just stay away from anything airdrop. Make sure you avoid anything like free money, or money doubling when it comes to crypto space, no one is going to give you free money, any investment which anyone claims is going to give you 100 percent return without any risk is just phishy, there is always risk in every investment.
You leaving your seed phrase in anywhere there is internet connection is really a bad idea, make sure your seed phrase is stored completely offline. If you snap your seed phrase on phone, you can just decide to give someone your phone, and they going to see your seed phrase on it, and they might just end up stealing it. Store your seed phrase offline, you can decide to carve it on iron steel and hide it in different locations that nobody will be able to access.
