I believe consistency unlocks mastery, but is it all worth it when you are not even seeing a real good outcome? Personally, I don't think its better to stick with trading for the sake of consistency, because not all consistency leads to success and profitability.

This is the reason why majority of traders are still losing, because they still pursue trading even if they know deep within that they are not destined to be good and profitable traders, but just plain good investors in the long run.

But another thing is that the problem is not always consistency, but how we are consistent. If someone is consistent by making the same mistakes over and over again, then naturally the results will not come, I think it is more important not to stop here but to step back and review your trades. Consistency will come in handy later if you can fix where you are going wrong. Sometimes trading is not for everyone it is okay to accept this, but before that you should at least try to fix your approach.

Bro, trading and gambling are different. They can't be compared based on one factor like consistency. Although consistency has its own importance in trading or anything we do, if we are consistent, we are probably going to master that skill sooner or later. But it does not mean we are going to win all the time by being consistent, because some things are not for us, so we have to stay away from them.

Now, a trader can only make money if they are patient enough and have consistency. If not, they will leave trading after a few losing trades or after wrecking a few accounts. They need to understand that trading involves slow progress, whereas in gambling, consistency offers no real benefit, even if we might get lucky occasionally.

I'll change my focus, trading isn't the only thing in the crypto market to be done. We've got other ways like holding which is also an effective way to profit. And at some point, we can start selling when we're in profit. There are no pressures doing it and you can it for as long as you want to.

Continuing to try the same things when you aren't winning isn't being consistent. You shouldn't keep doing the same thing while expecting different results. If you’ve been stuck in the same spot for a long time, you need to figure out what isn't working. Doing so makes you stronger. However, I’m not sure if the same applies to gambling. Gambling carries much more adrenaline than trading, so its system is entirely different.

Consistency that can lead to success is not just being consistent in opening positions, but being consistent in many other things.
For example, being consistent in conducting evaluations, keeping a trading journal, because through evaluation and a trading journal we can understand our trading progress.
However, if you have been trading for quite a long time but are not getting good results, it means that trading is not suitable for you.
There are other jobs or activities you can do, don't just think about trading because trading without producing results becomes foolishness.

Consistency means showing up every time but that isn't what trading is. Trading is about profitability. A trader doesn't need to show up every time to be profitable. In fact, they don't even need to win every trade to be profitable. All they need do is win trades where their R:R is favourable to them. A trader can win a single trade and lose three but still be profitable. Some can win three trades and lose one but still be in losses. That's not profitable trading.

As for you question, no I won't change to something else. I will just have to reconsider my strategy and fine tune it to start making profit from it. Trading allows for flexibility and freedom with time and movement. Those two aren't what anyone should joke with.

Consistency is the key to the every success especially when it come the trading if your not consistency there’s no way you can achieve your goals, the applicable works for both the gambling and the trading in facts everything in life deserves consistency without it whatever person come to do will end up in losing. And that is what every trader should know when you are trading you should take your result seriously because it is better that if you are not getting result you should let it be, what is the essence of going into something and you are not getting result so it should be taken very seriously because trading is very complicated and people need to know all this things before they start because money is why we are trading and making money should be another thing be driving us but we should not take everything for granted. Perhaps what's not working is the timing or the trading model itself. If you frequently lose in futures trading, I think that's perfectly normal, as there's a liquidation system in place if the market starts to reverse direction. But if you frequently lose in spot trading, which doesn't have a liquidation system in place when the market starts to reverse direction, then it might be a bad time for everyone, so it's best not to trade at that time. However, if you're just buying without selling in the near term, I don't think that's a problem at all, as some people use such methods when the market starts to slump due to rising prices.

Do it in a way that even if you lose, you are still moving forward in life, not in a way that you will spend all your money on trading and continue losing. Some people will continue to trade and continue to lose just as it is in gambling.

TBH  I was expecting more allocation to trading, like I would keep 10 to 50% aside and use the rest for trading. As I am not actively trading all the time, but looking out for some opportunities and when I do, I try to use it fully. That's why I allocate more, I think you take leverage right? If that's the case, then it makes sense, or if you earn a lot of money, that 10% of it is more than enough.

Anyway, that's the best advice there, you just gave. we should only trade with the money that we can afford to lose, no matter how high we are earning, no matter how easy it looks to make money, we have to control our emotions.

I agree that consistency is very good when it comes to trading in order to be called a successful trader or in order to succeed in trading you must be consistent in doing it. You cannot just come into trading and then start making huge amount of money you must have done it for some years before you can start gaining more than you are losing, a lot of people when they started. They were not making good amount of money but because they are consistent in trading as time goes on, they started making money out of it however, I would like to ask a question if you are consistent in doing something or in trading and you continue losing for some years is it still advisable to continue?
