Don't know about the others but I am never tired of playing slots, it gave me wins more often and some of them are the biggest wins from the entire gambling so I guess win or loss plays a role here about how we perceive the games.

Basically there are two types of gamblers, one who just wants the instant rush who will be fond of casino games and the others sports bettors who wants to take as much as time they can to bring into a conclusion and there is a reason why they chose one over the other and if you are not feeling the thrill then it must be due to the sports betting.

Has anyone else experienced being incredibly bored of slot games and not even wanting to hear their sound even for a split second?

I experienced that with all gambling games... Your story is about experiencing that after losing your balance pretty quickly, in my case, it can be even when I am winning. It's a mixed feeling... I feel bored & tired from watching the screen & following the game, and I need to stand up and move away from it. But I always return... Days or weeks can pass, for some games even months, but I will give them a try again at some point.

After experiencing continuous losses (even though I could afford them) I can't help but think slots are incredibly boring and not worth spending any time on. I tried several games, even went for lower volatility and for promos but still the losses kept piling up. In the end the urge to give up was incredibly large.

Now I'm at a point where I can't even conceive the idea of playing slots again. I've never experienced losing money so fast in any other casino game. Even if you want to exercise restraint, with slots, you simply can't. Maybe it's a logical phobia that I developed but I think it might also be just bordom.

On a side note, if you ever want to get rid of thoughts to play a certain game, maybe try to convince yourself that it's boring answering to yourself with all the reasons why it's a fatiguing game whenever you think of playing it.

I have been at that level after like 24 or 29 consecutive buy bonuses lost in a row in a Pragmatic Play slot machine named Rabbit Garden. I was so mad that even that really nerve turning on music made me wanted to hit the keyboard hard and completely ruin it which was a good Razor keyboard by the way. One of the reasons on why i do switch up myself on playing not only on slot games but also other known casino games just because i do get easily bored on which even just a 10's of rolls of a certain slot game then i do tend to switch up into other provider on which i do look for it to be interesting not only on the bonuses and perks but also into the interesting looks and sounds but i do still ended up on swithing into other game like crash, some binary based games, plinko etc... I dont say that slot do sucks but just like been said that despite of being a boring game or you do get easily bored into it but still you do consider out on playing it again and again but of course it will be just that still depending on you since its our money then its our right on which one we would be that playing on. I haven't liked slots for a long time. But recently I had to play them because according to the terms of the casino, the bonus could only be wagered in slots. Yes, it's incredibly boring. In fact, all slots are the same thing. Roulette is much more interesting. Of the other games, Plinko is the most interesting. Well, I would probably call Aviator and similar crash games more interesting games. Although the latter are not exactly exciting games, rather those that evoke the strongest emotions. if you want to restrain but you cant, then it is obvious that you are addicted to slot games because its only addiction that can prevent you from restraining. there is nothing like logical phobia it is just addiction, except that is another name for addiction.

well aside from convincing yourself that the game is boring and fatiguing game when you want to call it a quit, you can as well quietly leave that game and switch to sport betting and convince yourself that sport bet is more better. or you can as well learn another thing that will occupy your time, because everything in life works with time. when you occupy your time with other important things, you will gradually get rid of that feeling of not being able to stop slot game.

a substantial win it does just get boring particularly playing the same game.

Its definitely better for your mental health to take a break and come back to slot playing with

I have the same feeling OP has about slots. I also find them or they quickly start to turn boring to me. I think that is because I play it at lowest possible bet, because large wins are really rare (in my experience at least), and due to autobet option. Maybe reason is the way I play it. I set bet size, then usually set 100 spins in autobet, start the process and wait for 100 spins to end. Sometimes I even switch to other browsing tab while waiting for spins to run out. Then just look for results, whether I managed to hit rare combination or not.

A very good point about gambling is that money flows away like water. This should be a reminder for all those who expect to become addicted to gambling on a regular basis. I often see posts here by people who regularly gamble, and the question always arises: Where did they get so much money? I hadn’t thought of it that way, but I’ve felt bored playing when my balance lasted a long time and I’ve often felt like quitting altogether not wanting to have anything to do with it anymore but that’s pretty hard to do. So what I ended up doing was just cutting back but that’s better than before.
Maybe I’ll try what you suggested treating it as boring, and since the outcome is predictable, that will make me lose.

Yes, this could be our first reaction to it, after losing for many days or even months on slot, there could be time that we will experience mental fatigue. You will have to question yourself whether to continue as you have piling loses after loses.

Its definitely better for your mental health to take a break and come back to slot playing with
renewed confidence and outlook - even though that doesnt change the odds or anything.

This could be the best thing why we should at least stop playing. Our mental health more than money itself is going to be affected. We should really take care of it before everything goes into pieces and we will have a hard time to recover. As my Grandfather will say, "live another day". So for me it's better to stop when we feel like it.
