I mean I’m not sure if this is just me, but I’ve noticed this pattern many times. For example, I win around $500 then I withdraw $400 to secure profit. After that, I continue playing with the remaining $100. But somehow, I can’t win anymore and I just lose everything that’s left.
It feels like before withdrawal I play more carefully, but after that I become less disciplined or maybe I take more risks without noticing it. Or maybe it’s just normal variance and bad timing.
Do you also experience or doing this? Or do you have way to manage the remaining balance after withdrawal so it doesn’t just disappear?
I think this is nromal if you play casino games, I'm not sure how the casino do have their ways around their games, once you hit big money, whether you withdraw it or keep it, you tend to lose and I don't know why but probably it's because the system was set that way, you can't keep winning casino for long time but if you are sport person, you can win money and not even make withdrawal, try another bet again and still win money more than the one you won at first. However, if we leave the game aspect and the skill, some people over happiness makes them lose money they could have won more. Some people don't know how to contain their joy when they make money and along the way the remaining bankroll they left to make money in thr betting platform, they loss everything in the end. The best way to get out of this is to probably take some break anytime they win and they come back when they are ready play again.

Almost everyone has experienced this, even me. This is where it's important to limit yourself to avoid becoming an addict. If you don't withdraw a significant amount of your money from that gambling website, I'm sure you could even lose it all. This happens because losing encourages us to keep playing until we achieve the same winning streak as before. No one can create the same situation, except you, the bookie.
Yes mate you are absolutely right, if you also leave the winnings without ever withdrawing a minimum part of earnings, at the end of the year when you draw the sums to understand if you have gained or lost during your playing period, we would find a bitter surprise. I honestly keep my winnings on the line often, only if I reach a "useful" amount to withdraw. Last year I finished with around 400 euros in profit (that's really not much) but I can confirm that I played practically all year.

I have experienced this is in the past but the remaining money that I play with is considered as "trash cash" in a way that I am very much willing to lose in the process. With that kind of mindset, I usually go all-in and I just bet whatever I think would be best in that situation. More often than not, I eventually lost my "trash cash" but I still consider it as a win given that I have already profited. At least in this way, I've tested my luck and it answered that "what if" question on my mind if I decided to continue. Almost everyone has experienced this, even me. This is where it's important to limit yourself to avoid becoming an addict. If you don't withdraw a significant amount of your money from that gambling website, I'm sure you could even lose it all. The good thing about OP's story is that he already won and profited from his games. Regardless of the result on the remaining balance of his account, whether he won or lost, he still profited and enjoyed at least some money on his end. At the end of the day, it is very crucial that your perspective should be flexible enough to adapt in the right scenario in gambling. In OP's case, he already profited and whatever may happen to the money that left after withdrawing his winnings, he's still in good spirits!

I believe that to win at gambling you have to depend on luck, if your luck is good then you can win at gambling, and if your luck is not good then you will never win at gambling. When we win at gambling, it is wise to withdraw most of the money. Just because you won at gambling the first time does not mean you will win at gambling the second time. There is no guarantee of winning through gambling, the results are completely unpredictable. Always be aware of gambling and it will protect you from big losses.

It's normal with most gamblers, I also experience the same thing.. The reality is that before your withdrawal, if there is a bigger money involved like the $500 you talked about, then your mind will be much more cautious and careful all the time coz a huge amount of money is on the line... But once gamblers has taken that money out, the mindset changes and you feel less cautious simply because the bigger part of the money has been secured through withdrawal, and you may even begin taking risky/ care less decisions sometimes without your knowledge...There are times that the loss isn't even because you where careless, sometimes it is simply because profits isn't always guaranteed in gambling... And if that is the cause you have no control here, and so the only thing you can do is to take a pause and come back later when you realize that the losses is getting extreme..

No its not just you, it happened to me many times, so I make it a point to withdraw all my profits and take a day off to enjoy my winnings its kinda resets everything. I sometimes have a good chance of taking a day off, it's just a coincidence, or maybe just having luck after I got back, it will do you good if you take a day off when withdrawing all your profit, but of course every gambler have different experience in this kind of situation.

I also have the same feeling as the OP. Every time I withdraw most of my winnings, the game suddenly goes very badly, even though I continue playing as before I withdrew the money. I don't know why. Many factors influence this, but I suspect that after gamblers withdraw their winnings, the casino marks their accounts by reducing the chances of winning and increasing the risk of losing. Does anyone agree with this assumption? I've noticed this many times, and the scenario is always the same.

I have a contrary opinion on this. It may be possible that the casinos try to play some tricks to prevent further wins, but I somehow believe that our psychology play a major role here. Sometimes we do not get to realise that immediately after a win, our mindset and behaviour change towards the game. It is either we get too overly confident or we begin to act too careful so we record another win. Sometimes too, all of our strategies are being influenced by greed or over-excitement which ends up affecting our choices. It happens to alot of gamblers who have this same challenge of not being able to win again after winning earlier. The best remedy is to just withdraw your win for the moment and go home. I am talking about gamblers who become unable to win again after a win. Some gamblers who pull all their wins back into gambling for the next round end up losing everything. They were very overconfident to have done that. Just quit for the day and forget about seeking for solutions to win over and over again in one day.

So, actually, you were careless with that $100, treating it like a spare fund. You withdrew the $400 and were satisfied that you made a profit for that day. Your mind held onto that thought, and you went with the idea that if you lost, then nothing would be shocking since you had already made your profits. This is the state of our mind, when it receives some positive signals, it reacts normally. Before your withdrawal, your mind was processing every step very critically, but once you confirmed your profit, it went into a relaxed state, and your decisions were not as sharp as they were before that withdrawal.

I usually set aside money before gambling. I also separate my winnings from the money I'll use to play. This method is very effective for me, preventing me from spending it all in one sitting. This allows me to continue spending money on school and other necessities without having to sacrifice excessive amounts of time and money on gambling. Even though the gambling money may seem small, it doesn't pose a risk to my life.

Yea, I have experienced it too, sometimes after I have withdraw a huge percentage of my winning, if I coming right away with the amount that I left there, I might end up losing it sooner because I won't be as discipline as I was before I won the money. So, what I normally do is that I will pause from playing at that moment and then play later when I'm done with excitement of that first win. Although I can not resist the urge of playing immediately after that win but sometimes I try.

This happens to me often, and I believe the anxiety of the previous winning and the unguarded subsequent wagering cause it. This gets aggravated when you'd already moved out the majority of the money that could have helped you keep the cool or enforce management on you. Well, it's good that you lost the reminder only, so take a little break before resuming. Do you also experience or doing this? Or do you have way to manage the remaining balance after withdrawal so it doesn’t just disappear?
As I said earlier, yes, I experience it as well. And the solution is to take a break before continuing gambling, to reset your psychology.

Yes, this happens to me often, and I think it probably happens to most people. After withdrawing your winnings, you feel safe and play less cautiously, which leads to losses. It's best to stop playing and come back another time.
When you play with capital, you play cautiously and responsibly, but when you win and isolate the profits, you feel reassured and become more impulsive because you are playing with the profits and you say to yourself "I will risk the profit and even if I lose it, there is no problem" and this is what actually happens.

Although I sometimes experience such things after taking withdrawals, but not a few also after I withdraw up to 3 times in a day but still give a good victory, maybe because the luck at that time was quite great, so I did not accept defeat after withdrawing, in conclusion, it does not always end up losing after withdrawing if you play again, it may be because we are much more careless in gambling because we feel calm after withdrawing from the previous victory.

So OPs luck disappears after withdrawal. I dont believe in such things, that there is something that have impact on our luck. If withdrawal can decrease luck, then there should be something that can increase it. Since we have discussed already that there is nothing that can improve our luck, then withdrawal should not be reason for luck to disappear. I think its just a moment when we focus on a loss and try to convince ourselves that there is a reason for our loss, when on a distance we all lose Luck is indeed random and no one will know when it will happen, but if after the withdrawal there is a continuous defeat until the loss is actually a game of algorithms made by the casino. Because some accounts that have made withdrawals are quite large when the previous winnings will be marked and the winning percentage will be reduced, so that more losses will occur. Perhaps the mechanism of the system is like that, an Online Casino it is a program that has been set up and made in such a way, for the benefit of the casino and the advantage of the player but only a few players will win and get a big profit. It's just about how the algorithm pattern works, not about the reduced luck, An algorithm is created will go to the trigger with some options such as withdrawal, deposit and some bets made on the game in gambling, But for a bet on sports luck and data analysis according to the chosen player or club it will determine everything.

I have varied experience with this; sometimes I lose the winning part of my winning, and sometimes it leads me to more winning. It's different for every gambler, but we tend to assume it's true to us when we experience this many times during our betting session. If this is your experience, then it's better to withdraw all your winnings and just deposit if you start a new session.

It is normal that some time i do keep losing after i have withdraw my profits because i felt that since i have gotten my profits that it is wisely to chance after millions and the process of chancing millions i do keep losing just because of my selfish interest which i will gather so much odds in different tickets that will give a reasonable potential winning and why some time i do still experience winning after i have withdraw my profits, i do notice that once you have a target to win a particular amount in gambling you end up lossing the tickets most times, so nothing is more better than gambling for fun and with that you will gamble wisely.

I understand what you are saying, and honestly, that pattern is very common and after withdrawing profits, it is easy to feel like you can push further and chase something bigger. But that’s usually where things start going wrong. Trying to turn a small win into something massive often leads to taking bigger risks, stacking too many odds, and eventually losing what you have already gained and that mindset of since i have made some profit, I can afford to risk more and can be tricky. It feels logical in the moment, but it often comes from wanting more rather than sticking to discipline. And like you mentioned, once you set a fixed target most especially a big one and it can create pressure that affects your decisions, leading to losses more often than not. It is also true that when you approach gambling more casually, without chasing a specific amount, you tend to make calmer and better choices.

If not for greed why will someone who won $500 not be contented with that amount and just leave gambling for that particular day. This is the problem with most gamblers; greed is what has made many gamblers to become reckless because when you are not contented with the amount you won and you still want to stake more bets that is how you will be losing more and before you realize yourself you must have made a terrible mistake. If you are able to even get x2 of the amount you wager, it should be okay for you. Despite that gambling is difficult to make profits from it serially but had it been most of our bets are targeted on making x2 of our wager amount, people wouldn't have been losing too much.

Do you also experience or do this? Or do you have a way to manage the remaining balance after withdrawal so it doesn’t just disappear?
I don't have this kind of experience because I withdraw all my profits usually after a big win. I believe in starting clean by depositing again for another session. It's a luck-based game, and the casino always has an edge, so it's not really the situation, but how the house edge plays out and how lucky you are on that day, but if you always experience that, then it's better to withdraw all your earnings and just deposit when you want to play again.
