I agree with the lawmakers that raised the motion that sensitive matters should not be featured in gambling platforms, it makes the matter look so common meanwhile there are people grieving over them. Thise prediction market can do better in screening the games they featured in their platform because if they continue the way they are  going, they may incur lawsuit in a matter of time.

I think gamblers are so funny that they can bet on anything just for the money which is very bad to me. Betting on one misfortune means you're heartless because it shows you don't care about what happens to your neighbor.

With news of sensitive importance being gambled on the Polymarket as we have seen so far, it calls for and shows the importance of why government policies are made to restrict and control the activities of these kind of platforms that aim for money and profit above human lives and the sensitivity of some news aired.

It's indeed a bad thing to do by the Polymarket and if they are to remain in business for longer, they should consider how they and what they include to bet on, otherwise they may be out if business soon with sanctions and fines and lawsuits from several top governments of the world.

This will be very hard for them, because sensitive bets are very useful for them in addition to what makes Polymarket hype is betting on sensitive things, which is why it will be very difficult for them to give up this.

Some things should not be gambled on, for example, people's lives. Because that can misfortune can be deliberately manipulated, all for the sake of a bet. Maybe it is even a very large bet. Some people would not mind doing an evil deed to cheat others out of money. Especially when it comes to gambling.

The real problem here is not just the platform, but also the mindset of the people. There is a war going on, people are missing, families are worried and at that time someone is betting on all this, it is really bad. Placing a bet on other people's misfortune should not really be condoned, as humans there are certain lines we should not cross. The poly Market has a lot of options as we all know but not everything should be added to it because some issues are sensitive. On these same prediction platforms people bet on the war going on between other counties, while we catch cruise and use such things as entertainment the people affected by it are really going through difficult times

Yeah, it's so disgusting. Prediction market is just getting non sense these days. It's hard to believe they still release a prohibited contract that bet on someone's fate. The regulators clearly disallowed it. What they shall have done to ensure there won't be a contract linked to the others lives.
There's also a law that ruled it in US. If they don't follow it, they deserve the sanction. This prediction market is not having humanity. Slowly, but surely people are losing their interest to use this prediction market. Even human life means nothing compared to the money being gambled in prediction market.

People bet on different things or topics such as elections, economy, sports, thousands of other things. Similarly, in the Prediction market, many people bet on possible contemporary real events or things close to them, but a person is missing, his family is in panic at that time others are betting on his survival, This is social degradation, very uncomfortable and inhuman. This is getting serious and tensed as well, because the United States of America has been in search of the f-15 pilot, I learned that they were two on the fighter jet, but one was found missing after discovering the fighter jet location.

Iran have also placed a bounty amount of money on anyone who sees and present the pilot dead or alive to the government, so that they can use such as ransom against US, but also seeing that this has been taken to the poly market and people are now gambling over it could be disheartening because this is about life we are talking about, and who knows maybe the jet pilot is somewhere safe in a closed location yet  unidentified.

I dont really believe that it passed through its internal safeguards. If it werent been that getting some attention then for sure that it would still continue because they do know that there would be those bettors that would be taking up such bet and they do make money with that. It would be that impossible that there would be no QC first about into those bets that been opened regarding this and that. Its true that it would be that unethical or something not really that right on making up some bets on someones misfortune or tough condition because it was never been fun to bet into that. If they do really mean it about passing through their standards then they should be that careful next time and they might be facing up some issues on that time.

The real question is how that bet could pass. All bets definitely go through inspection with their system. But what about something that I think is new, being able to get through? 
This type of bet is clearly not right. We know that anything can be made into a gamble, but we have to use our mind and conscience to do it. That is a truly bad mistake.

Most of Polymarket games are sensitive matters like earthquake,  war in Ukraine, US invading Iran, toppling of the Iranian regime through force and many other wars that were hosted, all qualified as sensitive matters because majority of them involves human lives, blood and suffering of people. I understand the issue at hand involves people whose lives are at stake which is why the emotion is high but id there is any saction on Polymarket for such events, then they might also face punishment for some of the precious events they allowed in their platform.

That's true, and apart from this one, I've heard so much type of gambling that doesn't fit the gambling status like the bet on riding on level 4 hurricane milton, betting on who to win as Us president,  and prediction on the day Christ will come. I have seen thread created some time ago and I must confess this bet are far away from regular betting and it shouldn't be encouraged otherwise it will excalate to a point where people will start to bet their lives when they are alive. And at that point people can go extreme just to win. So gambling platform should totally avoid prediction that are meaningless.

Ever since prediction market became very popular, it is obvious that they tend to convert every trending news into a gambling opportunity, of which it's cool for some, but when it comes to this very scenario which happens to do with life and death of the airman whose aircraft was shot down in Iran, and yet a bounty of 50,000 Euros have been place on whatever can give useful information about him/her to the Iranian government. Gambling on if will he survive or not on Prediction Market literally goes against the code of humanity. Because everybody knows that airman is literally in high danger at the moment, and putting him on the bet now, will just give room for people who place a bet for him not to return to start praying he doesn't come back alive, simply because they plan to win a game at the expense of someone's life. Which is very bad, and I'm happy the US lawmaker Seth Moulton was able to come out and condemn this act been done on the Polymarket prediction.

Actually, this is a heartbreaking story for me. People are betting on the birth and death of people. Just moments before the joint forces of America and Israel attacked Iran, bets were found on the death of Khamenei in the Poly Market, where they were betting on the war and the death of Khamenei. Actually, these are very sensitive topics. I think people should avoid these topics, we should not forget that there are many other things to bet on, we can bet on those things as well.

This matter also includes adding some prediction such earthquake and natural disasters that usually occurs in some countries, I don't also like the idea that they even add this kind of prediction to their platform because it can endanger the individuals live on the note that people that placed bet on such matter will make sure do anything just so their bet will be successful. Imagine where they open a bet that a certain president will leave office before a particular date and a day before that date, the president gets eliminated. This is dangerous and I don't like it.
