Gambling is a personal choice and it depends on whom is gambling at the moment; as far as I know everyone Gambling is gambling for profits making but the difference between both is that, the Rich can easily let go the amount they spent while gambling be it whatever amount they wouldn't feel it that much, but when you talks about the poor, they easily get it to their nerves whenever they are gambling and they lose it.
In conclusion; both people gambles for profits, but the rich easily let go, while the poor easily gets addicted. Don't get me wrong that the Rich can't get addicted but they can also control themselves if they don't have winning they already had alternative of source of funds than the poor whom would stick to make sure they recovered something from their bet.
This seems the obvious answer, but I have some doubts about its validity. The rich can stake more money because he can afford it, but in the end I think that the motivation is the same between the rich and the poor, and the fact that the rich has more sources of funds can simply mean that he has more money to gamble. I tell you this because I have a acquaintance who has inherited a business and a big income because of that, but still has trouble with debts because he even bet his car to poker and lost, and the bank won't lend him more money until he returns what has already been left to him. So the problems between the rich and the poor are the same, I think, the only thing that changes is the magnitude in each case.
We are both saying the same thing dude.. if you carefully on.my summary you would see what I said there. However, for those who gambling till they goes bankrupt are the people who many likely be in that condition. Gambling is not addictive but those who are solely behind it are the people who keeps making gambling to be addictive. I have been gambling since 2021 why didn't I get addicted to gambling? I think is because I have some strict rules that governs me and I do not for any day go against my rules. So any one who must gamble must learn to follow some sets of rules and gambles moderately.
