Say school is scam?

School is not a scam and will never be, the problem with most people, especially in my country is that they misunderstood the concept of schooling which is primarily for enlightenment, they thought that once you are educated, you will automatically live a good life, which is not true. Education opens so many doors of opportunity to a man, but it doesn't guarantees a man being successful in what ever he is doing.

How can we read and write in the forum if we are not educated, and are unable to read and write, so it high time people stop being stupid by stop saying that statement that school is a scam.

Education and success are 2 different things.

Schools only provide basic knowledge and foundational skills. It never guaranteed anything, yet many people do not understand this.

You're right, the problem lies with people themselves. Many misunderstand the purpose of education and set unrealistic expectation. When thing don't turn out as expected, they turn around and call education a scam instead of admitting that they had the wrong idea about the actual role and value of education from the start.

They might be people who never had the opportunity to go to school, or they might be people who struggle to find jobs or earn an income after graduation.

Many graduate are unemployed, but instead of admitting their own fault, they blame education, even calling it a scam. They have the misconception that simply going to university and getting a degree will automatically make them rich. They dont realize that the job market has changed and is more competitive than ever. Having a degree alone isn't enough anymore. They also need skill, experience and the ability to adapt.

In reality our society judge our level of success on the basis of our degree. So people are spending lot of money on the higher education. There is a kind of competition prevailing, due to surplus of educated people ratio of unemployed is increasing. Moreover practically skills considered important besides the degree. But our education systems are not working in bringing the awareness regarding skills importance. But instead they are just convincing people for degree on higher fees. They are strengthening day by day, but our economy face difficulties in term of progress technically. Here i feel that skills developmental programmes must be part of our education systems. Or removing any extra non relevant subjects with practical skills.

Such judgements never exists anymore because some of the world richest man's on earth today are all school dropout that refused to give up instead they fought tirelessly to put themselves at a position where graduates works for them.
Spending money on education is normal but what matters is what we have after acquiring those academic certifications we think is the greatest of all.
Statically looking at the chart of billionaires today you will see that those that spent much time,  energy and resources in working on themselves not academically but business wise never stop topping the chart while the academic way houses ends up working for them that used there time wisely. On this i think its the right time re revamp our orientation and face reality.

Skills is still a product of education, and we can not replace education for skill just because we have large number of unemployed degree holders, I agree with you guy's on the failure of the government to provide enabling environment for the graduates like providing career jobs for young graduates, this makes the failure of those degree holders to become glaring because just a few among them can actually become creative to provides jobs for themselves.

School is not a fraud, here people initially gain knowledge, from primary education to higher education, the schools that people enter are basically enough for people to gain knowledge. Those who lack money mainly fail to go to this school, but in turn, school is an important place for every person. School is a place of fraud for those who are afraid to go to school themselves, for those who take drugs and blame school for their failure, it is not the school's fault, it is their lack of personal intelligence. Therefore, school can in no way be a place of fraud, it is an educational institution for people to gain knowledge.

Definitely, school is not for everyone as of the higher institutions particularly, but whether primary, secondary or tertiary  and other learning institutions with school settings they are all schools or learning institutions and one can't be a  scam while the other is not.

So we cannot identify school as a bad effort in any way, because we have received education from school and have been educated in higher education. This school institution may be a fraud for unsuccessful people, but for those who have succeeded and occupied big positions in the country, school is the best institution. Therefore, school cannot be a fraud school in any way.
