Is school really a scam?
It would not be right to call a school or educational institution a scam directly because in this case you can call the working principle of the educational institution a scam directly. The thing is that if you analyze the way the activities are conducted in the government schools of my country in many cases, then you will definitely see so much irregularities and corruption in the government schools of our country that a conscious citizen like you will never want to admit children to government schools. Irregularities in classes, irregularities in studies, even teachers skipping classes and giving tuition to students separately to earn money, etc. As a result of the salary scale of government school teachers in our country being higher than other employees, most teachers neglect their duties due to a different mood among the teachers. That is why sometimes it seems that the quality of education in private schools is much better than in government schools.
Its difficult blaming people saying school is a scam because even with great qualifications its still difficult getting jobs to meet end needs.
Just like what made me quite my academic dreams, after spending some years of in schools with hope of getting employed after all, it turned in an opposite direction and I once called school a scam and continued pushing for ways of making money without the use of certificates.
In conclusion because it didn't favour me i won't say school is a scam as many are still making it through schools.
If most graduates are unemployed in your country, that is the government's fault for failing to create enough jobs. But if you have graduated while many of your friends have good job and stable incomes and you do not, then that is your responsibility because you have failed to apply what you learned in the real world.
Education and school have never been a scam or the problem. They simply provide you with knowledge and tools, but they do not guarantee anything. Blaming education only shows that we are avoiding responsibility for our own choice and effort.
Exactly the point, education and school is not the problem here and I am even wondering why some people will blame school or education for lack of employment. The Government should be blame for not creating job opportunities for those that are graduates. Without being in a society, I wonder the kind of society that we will have . I believe if people get to understand the primary aim of education they will not say that it is a scam. An educated mind is enlightened and there is joy that comes with this enlightenment, someone that is educated will surely know how to survive and relate with others in the society. Most people are only looking at the secondary purpose of education and not the primary aim.
