Can a low staker ever win a life changing bet?

This is coming from a place of reality, low stakes have won big amount of money in my country, sports bets and casino bets, I know it's very hard but it's also very possible, it never happened to me as I always gamble with very low amount, the wins I had aren't big enough to change my life but it's better and safer to gamble this way than to keep risking big money where losing the money is also very possible, you risking big amount of money won't change anything, if good luck isn't on your side you will have same bad results.

Dont you think that if you gamble low bet with aim to win a good amount of money, on a distance you will lose more time and money? For example you will have to make successful 10000 bets to turn 1 into 10k and spend a lot of time, when you can play 4k and win with single 2.50 odds bet. Winning 2.50 odds bet in sports betting isnt a rare win and happens quite often.

Sure it’s 100% possible, but the chances of such happening is very very low and the worst part of this kind of wins are the effects it usually have on the gamblers around who only witnessed it, the kind of confidence and encouragement it gives them to keep making similar bets and that they’ll eventually get lucky too. Some even end up taking things personal and even with small amounts, they eventually get addicted and maybe even start using huge amounts.

That last statement matter as there are gamblers who thinks that after experiencing the win, they've got the impression that they'll be able to make it again and they start using larger amounts and once they failed addiction may take place, but in the other side there's also a chance that they might be able to make it to win and cashout decent amount of profits.

I agree with you on this, it is better to stake low because gambling is game of uncertainty, a lot of people stake high when they feel like a game has a high chance of playing out but they tend to forget that there is nothing sure about gambling. It is always advisable to Stake low and aim for high odds, it's all about getting lucky.

This question keep coming into my mind , and I have decided to bring it here, so that we can think and reason together about the possibility of this happening, and if there is an experience of such among gamblers here.
Sometimes, when I visit a betting shop, I see people playing bet with very long slip, and these set of people  are low stakers, and does not change their mentality, season in, and season out. They play this type of bet as they believe that a day will come when their expectation will come through, and they will win a life changing bet.
From my experience, I have only seen just one low staker who has won a life changing bet out of the many gamblers who play long slip, and expecting big win.

So my question remains, do you think is possible to win life changing bet wit low staking? And if yes, how often do you think this happens?

I think the number of such lucky people may be very small, one in a million or even less.
