Sometimes i do not really feel comfortable telling people i do not know about bitcoin as you may not know  if the person you are  telling about bitcoin is a kidnapper, your enemy etc. doing this means that you are indirectly exposing yourself to attack because these people can gang up against you out of envy or jealousy while you are thinking that you are doing them good or favor. i  can not advise anyone to be telling people about bitcoin because it is risky and if you must... always be neutral and plane.

Nigeria isn't safe to be explaining Bitcoin to people around you because already there's a feeling the public has against people that are into Bitcoin because they call them scammers therefore you don't have to be explaining what Bitcoins is to people. They have their phone to browse what Bitcoin is and they'll get all the answers that they're looking for. Some times when people ask you questions, they're not asking to know but asking to see if you're making money and they want to harm you. People are lazy to work for money but they'll be willing to steal what you have worked for it from you because of their laziness. It's not good to tell people that you're investing into Bitcoin because people will think you're rich and will want to steal money or beg you for money and when you do not give them, they can start planning bad towards you. When people think that you're poor, they'll not disturb you and you can enjoy your money without being afraid that you'll fall into kidnapping or robbery.

First of all, you cannot just start explaining bitcoin to random people that's understandable but if someone comes to you with the willingness to learn about there is nothing wrong is saying you have no idea though but there is also nothing wrong in sharing knowledge because you might be saving that person from making a big mistake. And explaining bitcoin to someone isn't a proof that you have a bitcoin investment unless you tell them that.

It's good to be careful but you can never be too safe especially in a country like nigeria,  people get robbed both poor and rich, portraying yourself as poor doesn't mean you are completely safe from that, this is why it's important to vigilant and security conscious at all times.

Yes, Bitcoin is not forcefully imposed on people, it's a choice. Someone has to be intrested in something before informations about that particular thing is passed to the person, explaining Bitcoin to someone who doesn't have interest for it is like pouring water into a basket, a waste of time and effort, such kind of person might end up using it as a quick money option than investment cause the interest wasn't there but just given trial without understanding what it's really about.

There is no way that people can be forced to do what they don't want to, and when it comes to Bitcoin investment, people should be allowed to make their own decision about investing because if the price should come down or if anything should happen, they are going to be blaming you, so to avoid all unforeseen circumstances, and as the case might even be a lot of people don't have interest because it involves putting money.

It is even now, people are beginning to believe in Bitcoin still, people still dont understand it because does going for ponzi scheme should just go and invest in Bitcoin instead of looking for quick ways to make money, and quick money does not help because you end up losing everything.

If explaining bitcoin to the people around you will benefit them in any way then you can. One of the ways to do this is firstly creating the awareness that Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.
You'll need to explain how it works, the benefits if the right strategies are adhered to and the risks involved in order to avoid certain situations. Usually people are not really interested in long term investments, they prefer the ones with quicker returns so automatically Bitcoin is not for them.
You also have to make them understand that they need to have a stable income before thinking about investing in order to maintain their lifestyle and also have emergency funds in the case of urgent need for money so they don't run back to their investments that hasn't even reached maturity.
The goal here is basically to get the people well informed about bitcoin, don't promise them false profits because you won't gain anything from misinforming them rather you stand a chance to ruin their financial lives.

If a person really doesn't want to understand Bitcoin on their own, you can never explain it or encourage them to invest in it. If the person is interested in understanding Bitcoin on their own, you can explain it to them. It is absolutely not right to force someone to invest in Bitcoin, investing is completely a person's own decision.

To invest in Bitcoin, a person first needs to have a basic knowledge of Bitcoin as well as an investment mindset. In addition, it is necessary to have a discretionary financial management and long-term planning and being aware of risks is very important and it is very important to have a emergency fund that will help the investor solve financial problems in difficult times. When an investor knowledge these things and is interested in investing in Bitcoin, the investor can definitely protect himself from big losses and can manage the investment in the long term and hold Bitcoin in the long term.
To explain Bitcoin to the people around us these are the things to say that to invest in Bitcoin first a person needs to have basic knowledge about this currency and an investment mindset to explain Bitcoin to people in simple terms without using complex technical terms. For example Bitcoin is known as digital money or internet money, acting as an alternative to banks, Bitcoin is a store of value.

Also long term planning, risk awareness and discretionary income should be provided to invest in this digital gold but nowadays due to increasing amount of crypto wrench attack and CEX and few hardware wallet hacks we should be very careful to explain information about bitcoin to common people around Because they can also attack for Bitcoin, so while teaching them about Bitcoin, everyone should remain anonymous with Bitcoin holdings.

And considering the fact that in this part of the world where ignorance can be very common, it's best to see the willingness before actually initiating a conversation with anyone... Some discussions are far more effective when both parties are on the same page and not exactly when the discussion is forced. But what I have always advised is that we try to listen to what people have to say first, before knowing things to talk about.

This is very true, and that's why I prefer not to even have any conversation In the first place.
People, these days are too quick to assuming things even if it's not completely true. So, if staying quiet should eliminate this very risky, then I see no reason why Bitcoiners should overlook it.

All these is understandable, but did you think our people will take it that way?
Only some of us that are educated can take this easily as means of investment to save themselves from inflation or any way you explained it to them; but majority if our people are just willing to make quick money, they prefer to be losing money to Ponzi schemes and trading shitcoins than to learn and hold Bitcoin, that is why if you come to introduce them to Bitcoin, they will think you have personal interest in it, or they will be eager to make profit, and if they see that there is no quick profit, they will leave, and if they lose money, they can even hold you responsible because they are not ready to commit themselves

If you have friends and relatives that can understand and learn without pressure, you can explain it to them and even guide through the process; also tell the risk involved so that they will know what they are going into without blaming you later. Anyone that is not willing to learn, let them be, don’t force anyone to invest in Bitcoin.

Many people do not accept free advice on investment matters. There are also those who try to criticize them for that advice. In my perspective one should not give advice to someone who has no knowledge at all. Those who have some knowledge will understand if they get some more advice on the subject, but those who have no knowledge and do not listen to the advice of others can never do anything good.

When an investor is given advice on investing in Bitcoin, he must be told the negative side of it. We must tell him what is true. We know that Bitcoin is a very profitable investment in the long run, but if the investment is not planned properly, there is a possibility of large losses. The investor must be told that investing in Bitcoin can also cause losses. However, it is better to encourage investment by explaining why it is a better investment compared to other investments.

Personally I’ll say there’s no need bringing to them the benefits without a deep understanding of the ups and downs. We should all understand that nothing good comes easily, they have their timings aswell. And there may be no need for convictions.

It’s okay to tell people about financial sovereignty, because there are people out there who want to break out of this financial control so how do I go about it;
I’ll tell them what bitcoin as a digital asset truly means, and what it takes to hold, there will be no need for me to skip one part.
First, what it means, secondly, what it takes to hold, thirdly, how to secure your holdings. This knowledge comprises of everything you need to know before giving it a chance.
I see no need sugarcoating anything, it’s not a trade fair.

Of course with family a little more attention is paid, you know, aside the usual personal research, I try to be alot open with conversations where I have my strengths in and where pass my power, I simply let them know as well.
Now let's say I have a family member who is probably struggling to get income and maybe he or she tries to follow footstep, after being honest with him, I will also advice that they don't start any investments until they have secured that income flow that they can they budget something yo investing, I would make it clear that you need money to make money and it's not somewhere you go to try and double money or anything like that. Now that's that extra attention because their family.

Another thing is when sharing information or the knowledge about Bitcoin to people out there you also to put out the good side of its investment, Bitcoin volatility and possibly the risks involved and how to manage the risks because it's necessary that anyone that wants to get involve know and understand everything before investing in it.

The aspect of sugarcoating bitcoin is honestly what I don’t like about other enthusiasts trying to convince a novice. Those aspects of bitcoin people consider a risk should be mentioned to those you’re trying to explain bitcoin to,for instance the aspect of bitcoin volatility,it would be so shocking to a person you explained bitcoin to,to later discover that bitcoin is a volatile asset, telling them about bitcoin volatility is just like enlightening them about the basic knowledge.Personally,if I heard about a thing I wouldn’t be satisfied with the knowledge not until I carry out my own research,so most people are built differently and most people also lean more on people’s knowledge than carrying out their own research.

I don't think Bitcoin can make people rich like before anymore. No one knows what level Bitcoin's price will reach in the future. Of course Bitcoin will reach its ATH again but we can't be sure when it will break it.

-snip-
Instead of showing people greed we should explain the reality and it is better to let them research Bitcoin themselves and then invest. Through this they will understand how much they need it in their lives and based on that they will invest or else ignore it.

Nowadays, if someone tries to introduce another person to Bitcoin they need to be careful because if there are some people who, if anything goes wrong, will blame the person who introduced them to Bitcoin, even though that person may not have encourage them to invest. So, it is always better to guide someone who is interested in learning about Bitcoin rather than try to introduce them to people.

In fact, Bitcoin is no longer at the stage where people need to be made awareness of it for adoption. Bitcoin is very popular now, and I would say that almost everyone who a smartphone should have heard about Bitcoin before. So, Bitcoin is not something new that people need to move around introducing to others. In fact, if someone goes into a community to introduce Bitcoin to people, they might even think that the person wants to scam them. So, the best approach is to wait for someone who needs guidance and is willing to learn about Bitcoin.

You already explained your difficulties and non-satisfaction in shared knowledge, and I must say your strategy is also perfect i.e going about your research to get deeper understanding, I must say it’s a wise strategy.
Maybe you should go back and do your research on what bitcoin really means ( what it entails) and what it takes to hold, try reading carefully and just maybe you’ll understand that you’ve added no point to the existing knowledge I shared.

Maybe you should have for a list or full description of what it really means for the sake of the newbies. Because if you check what it really means for means and what it really takes to hold, volatility cannot be in absentia.

You are right. There are many who come to get ideas about bitcoin to learn about it but do not maintain the guidelines properly. They start trading incorrectly in the hope of getting rich quickly. Later, when they suffer losses they start blaming others. So I think before giving anyone any advice about bitcoin, before teaching anyone anything should understand how much they can control themselves and whether they can invest according to their own responsibility and then teach them.

If a person cannot take risks themselves, cannot control their emotions by keeping their mindset right then if that person makes a mistake he will have to take responsibility for his mistake. The person who taught bitcoin should never be blamed. But many people do the opposite. That is why I usually do not tell anyone much about bitcoin. From now on I try to keep as much privacy as possible. However if I see someone who is really interested and responsible enough then I give him time and try to teach him all the things related to bitcoin.

Many times, the person who is giving knowledge about Bitcoin to another person is also at fault. Because there are many who only tell a new person the good aspects of Bitcoin, but they never tell the volatility of Bitcoin. I will definitely blame the person who teaches a person all this.

If a person comes to learn about Bitcoin, then first of all, it is necessary to tell that person about the intricacies of Bitcoin. Because when a person hears about the intricacies of Bitcoin and investment, then he will be able to decide for himself what to do. If the good aspects of Bitcoin are told in the beginning, then a person will definitely start investing in a hurry and if he faces losses, he will blame you.

Some family members needs to be spoon feed ti understand better, unless you don't really wish to teach them a complex theory like cryptocurrency most especially those that don't have their own personal understanding and back ground research about bitcoin or the general cryptocurrency in scope.

Such people require alot of attending and time to be able to understand and prevent themselves innthe space.

So before you decide to have such discussions wirh them first of all agree to get alot of trouble, but eventually you still get to pass the message to them.

That's how it should be dude, as it has to with investment generally, whatever decision to take should be on the person that will take whatever happens along the run, people should not forget that some persons are good at blame game shit, they don't like taking responsibility themselves, they even blame you when they are not suppose to, talk more of something that has to do with investment, for me, no one should try to convince, what you owe anyone interested potential investor is to tell them what they need to know about bitcoin, how to invest and what the expect, I think they can go ahead to press the button if they want or wish, to avoid short story getting long.

Of course, you can't force someone to understand something, naturally, the way you think about subject, the person opposite you will not think like you or see it from the same perspective, don't forget this. It's just that people don't see their own mistakes and want to impose them on others, so don't encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin who is not willing to invest on their own. We can't force anyone to invest in Bitcoin, it is very important for a person to have a mindset and interest in investing.
