Another one that I do not like is the use of passkey for wallets. Using passkey on centralized platforms like exchanges and gambling sites is still better but using it instead of seed phrase backup is very bad.

If I want to make use of any wallet, I make sure I go for only seed phrase and the seed phrase backup will be offline. I prefer to use just papers for the backup.
Do we actually still have wallets that use password instead seed phrase, I seems to be missing something here because even if you implement password security on your wallet that doesn't take out your seed phrase when you want to recover your wallet in another time.
Yes there are plenty of them in the internet that it not limited to web-wallets. Quick search online I can mention few of them which are not in the web-wallet category:
Bitkey: hardware wallet that uses a combination of a hardware key, app key with biometric auth, and server key. [1]
Breez: has implemented passkey login treating it as a modern replacement for seed phrases. [2]
Ryder: designed to use passkeys and biometric data as the primary credential. [3]

Disclaimer: I never used those wallets and I don't recommend anybody to use them for the reasons detailed in this topic discussion.

Many don't know how crucial privacy and security are in this space, do you know how it feels to lose all you have worked for all your asset that took you years to put together. You don't wanna know such feeling , that's why you have to prioritise the safety of your assets by being well equipped with the right knowledge on how to improve your security and keep your asset safe . During my newbie era I don't put much focus on security and stuff but as time goes I began to see that's it play a crucial role in this space .
The truth is that, no one will really understand how that really feels, not until it eventually happens to them. I've been a victim of wallet draining before via wallet connection to a fake faucet site. Although it wasn't much that was lost that day, because I didn't use my main wallet, but it just made me wondered what if it was actually my main wallet? that's exactly how I would have just lost all my assets to thieves. this made me double my security consciousness.
