Hello to all!

My deposit 15759 USDT not credited on HTX 7 days.

I withdraw money from polymarket to my USDT (SOL) wallet on HTX

The funds arrived in my wallet, as shown in solscan, but haven't been credited to the exchange.

The exchange tells me I need to wait 40 business days to investigate the situation.

But what's there to investigate if the transaction is clearly visible in solscan and the USDT has been sitting in a wallet belonging to HTX for a long time?

Please help me contact a real HTX representative. All I get from support is boilerplate phrases like "we'll expedite it and contact a senior manager," but these are just replies; nothing actually happens.

If your issue is legitimate you should consider contacting them on telegram. You can search for their telegram group via Google. Eg: "htx telegram group" . Their right telegram group should also be listed on the exchange site.
If contacting them does not work, complain could be sent to the country where the exchange is licensed/registered which is likely Seychelles: https://fsaseychelles.sc/complaint-handling#:~:text=Complaints%20Handling,their%20complaint%20to%20the%20Authority.

Probably an AML issue. You should NEVER make such big deposits to centralized exchanges. Hope you can get everything sorted out.

There's nothing that we can do about it, sorry.

You really have to contact them and unfortunately, you are in the mercy of their hands. That is a huge amount to begin with and so they will go hide on the guise that they want to know that source of this money, hence triggering AML/KYC on our part.

Have your money delivered to your account? If you have not, then have you ever verying your account to be KYC compliance? I have encountered this case in several exchange sites. I deposit my money, it's delivered, but the exchanges didn't credit it due to the KYC problem.

Just after i have fix my KYC problems, they were crediiting my money to my account. So i can guess we have almost similar case. If your account has not yet verified, then verify it asap.

If you have verified it, then your money is not yet credity. So i guess HTX marked your account due to the some reason such as geo ban or dirty deposit. I remember some exchanges were still seeing Poly as a gambling platform instead of prediction market. So it's possible to have your money hold by exchange site due to that reason.

So you have to regularly send email to their service to push team to fix your problem. I hope you get your money back.

The situation with OP might not be the same as yours, and that he didn't mention his status with HTX. If he has already completed KYC verification procedures or has already completed successful transactions before, or if it is the first time he used the platform. Note that HTX is the old Huobi exchange platform rebranded under a new domain name, and has many accusations including a lost case in court.

My guess is that OP unfortunetly lost his deposit forever because there aren't other valid reasons to a verification case to be pending for 40 years as they responded him. I don't think depositing directly from Polymarket can be flagged by any exchanger since the service is legit.

Needing to wait up to 40 business days for a situation like this is upsetting. OP seems to have gone offline for a week or so, hopefully because his situation has been sorted.

No, the exchange has been around for some good years now. It just rebranded some time back after FTX got popular. I guess they were trying to mimic the name but it was formerly known as Huobi Exchange and then it got acquire by that shady guy Justin Sun.

I think OP just fell into that AML compliance trap. He  should have screened the funds before sending them to HTX because there is a chance that some of the funds from Polymarket are tinted

I think the only way out is to sell USDT for regular money in the exchange's built-in P2P section. If you decide to withdraw it somewhere, you risk running into another block on the receiving side.

The last logged in 7 days after making this post, so it's very likely he got his issue resolved; otherwise, he would have come back to read any possible solutions and replies from members. Think Huobi, now called HTX, sank so low after Justin Sun acquired it. Whatever that guy touches turns into shit, and if it wasn't for USDT, the Tronix blockchain would be long dead by now.

The exchange getting sanctioned by the UK comes as no surprise.

That's good. You should change the thread title and add a new detail like "SOLVED". I'm curious what exactly happened though. Did they tell you what the issue was? Did it take 40 days or so till your funds was credited properly? Are you still using them now? If it were me I'd probably look for alternatives, especially if their explanation lacks details.

I remember when this exchange started in 2018. I think they even gave their early users some kind of giveaway which they took back after a couple of months for users who kept it sitting in their account. Didn't know they are still operating.  OP it will be better to post this directly on the scam accusation section.
