Hello everyone,Thank you for the detailed feedback. I will answer all the CEX-related points in one post, because the discussion is mainly about the same update.
1. About the checkbox visibilityYou are absolutely right: the checkbox is not noticeable enough at the moment.
The option itself is useful, but the current visual implementation is too easy to miss, especially because it sits on a dark background with a very subtle frame. That is not the experience we want users to have.
We will improve this in the nearest update. The CEX transfer option will be made much more visible: a clearer checkbox, stronger contrast, a better explanatory block, and a more obvious indication that this is an optional mode with different limits and fees.
So yes, this feedback is accepted and already goes into our UI update queue.
2. About CEX withdrawals, safety, and blocking riskCEX withdrawals are not processed through a simple public API connection to one exchange.
We also do not conduct KYC or AML checks on our clients, so we do not use client funds directly for trading on CEX instead, we maintain a pre-prepared pool of high-quality funds.
If our funds are ever frozen on a centralized exchange (CEX), the client’s funds will be returned without delay, and our company - not the client - will assume responsibility for resolving the matter with the exchange.
So from the user side, this option is designed to provide a higher-quality receiving flow for those who specifically need coins coming from a CEX source.
At the same time, we still recommend using your own personal wallet as the receiving address whenever possible. The CEX option is not meant to replace normal exchange usage for everyone. It is a special optional mode for users who need this exact type of output.
3. About the $1,000 minimum and the higher feeThe higher minimum and the higher fee are not arbitrary.
This is a different level of liquidity and operational work compared to a standard instant exchange. It requires:
- manual processing;
- reserved liquidity;
- additional operational risk management;
- higher-quality source flow;
That is why the CEX transfer option currently has a $1,000 minimum and a higher service fee.
For regular exchange mode, the minimum remains much lower. The higher minimum applies only when the user explicitly selects the CEX transfer option.
We understand that $1,000 may be too high for some users and use cases. We will monitor demand and operational stability, and if we can safely lower the minimum later without reducing the quality of the service, we will consider doing so.
4. About emphasizing the update betterThis is also fair criticism.
We should have highlighted this update more clearly in the ANN and in the exchange interface. A feature like this changes the logic, limits, and fee structure for one of the available modes, so it deserves a more visible explanation.
We will update the ANN post and the interface text so users can immediately understand:
- CEX transfer is optional;
- normal exchange mode still has a lower minimum;
- CEX transfer has a higher minimum and fee;
- the option is intended for users who specifically need a CEX-source receiving flow.
Thanks again to everyone who pointed this out. The feature itself is important, but the way it was presented should be improved, and we will fix that.
