No excuse for that, King Ry really lost to Rolly. Whether he trained hard or not does not matter, because he is expected to give his best in every fight.

And it is not the first time King Ry lost actually. He is just so hyped at the moment, but once he fights Shakur, I think he will be exposed. Not a hater, but Shakur’s style is just very hard to figure out.

Shakur can use his speed and technical boxing to beat Ryan. I don’t think it needs to be by KO either, a Shakur win by decision is probably the easiest prediction here.

Yeah, but we love this kind of trash talking though, and it seems that Ryan also wanted a piece of Crawford now. But he has has to go and win here first and maybe Shakur next before Crawford might give him a thought of fighting.

But I doubt it, seems that Crawford is enjoying his sort of retirement in boxing as there's no fighter that can give that big amount of money that Canelo might have given him. Regardless, Ryan should really trained hard and take Conor Benn seriously in this fight.

Yes, those dates are reserved for Oscar and Canelo before, but it looks like the Mexican Monster is going to carry the torch for them. Unless Ryan winning spectacularly like knocking his opponents out or his fight as exciting as David Benavidez.

Although Ryan could have a chance to get that dates as well if he can knockout Conor Benn and shut that mouth out then boxing promoters might go and try for another Mexican Independence day or Cinco de Mayo fight for him.

^^ I think though that having those dates reserves for you might also have the responsibility of not only the best Mexican boxers, but the charisma that comes with it. And fo me, David doesn't have that charisma of dela Hoya, or Canelo.

Lol, but you beat me to it, I was going around my posts and suddenly I thought about David Benavidez to be the good representation of the Mexican heritage with his style of boxing. He just needs to be loved not just by Mexicans though, but all boxing fans.

And somewhat still down to earth and not being boastful of his wins because that's what Canelo did early on his career. Maybe it was the language barrier because at the start Canelo doesn't speak English very well. But throughout the years he learn the language and so he did some trash talking himself along the way.

Rolly isn’t that hard to figure out. He was a cherry pick that backfired spectacularly. Ryan lost to him because he’s undisciplined and overrated. That’s why he’s in a third straight cherry pick against a weight drained Conor Benn instead of fighting Shakur, Boots, Haney or even Teofimo. He is in this sport to be a celebrity and make money. Understandably, Crawford considers him beneath his level and has no respect for him.

That ship with Eddy Reynoso has probably sailed, at least until Canelo retires. Reynoso isn’t going to adjust his schedule to accommodate Ryan who is focused on other things besides boxing.

He could follow the Tank Davis blueprint of cherry picking until he’s 30 years old if he wanted. If DAZN or Zuffa, whichever promotion or network he goes to next, wants him to be the face of boxing he will have to at least fight Teofimo, who is still a name, but starting to show signs of decline. The Haney rematch will eventually happen also. I think he’ll avoid fights where his chances to win are very slim, e.g., Shakur Stevenson.

He looks really ready for the fight, which is good because it seems both fighters are taking training seriously and should be able to give their best on fight night. But that picture does not change my prediction. I still believe Ryan Garcia will win this fight because I think he is smarter in the ring and already more proven at this level.

Ryan to win is only around 1.28 though, so I would not take those odds. I would rather wait for the KO or decision market because there is no way I’m taking such a low price.

Benn's durability still questionable after he was doing extreme cutting weight. Honestly, he only reminds me with Eubank. Eubank didn't look drained before the night of fight, but he's getting drained so hard during the fight. This gives me more comfy to bet on Ryan.

Agreed! However, similar to what I have argued for King Ry before when he accepted the challenge to fight Tank to make boxing great again, he will also not avoid Shakur on a superfight! King Ry will make the sport of boxing great again!

However, on Conor Benn's good body, we should also look at King Ry and we should not underestimate this beautiful man before the fight!

Don't take drained as an excuse if Benn's getting affected by his weight cut. When someone was doing extreme weight cutting, there is a huge possibility for him to be drained. It's strongly impacting his muscle and durability. It has to be the problems will be faced by Benn.

We have also so many researches that called a boxer getting drained as a normal thing when he's doing extreme cut weight.

But the result will totally depend on how Benn will overcome the side effect of his cut weight. I know you want a proper game, but it's unlikely to happen when Benn can't handle the side effect from his cut weight.

It makes me feel this is gonna be a one sided game. This is my 2 cents.

Usually it is the case for boxers to really get into shape before the fight. Although from posts before that this is Conor's last fight as 147 lbs but from the images, it looks like he is still can squeeze into the 147 lbs. But maybe he has some problems getting into that fighting weight as it will take a lot of discipline specially diet and it might be hard for him.

While Ryan might be confident at this weight and do not have that kind of adjustments as what Conor is here. And so he remains the odds favorite and possible to win by a knockout if he can get that left hook working and hit the target.
