More. Look at Iraq, there is no war there for a while now, the war started in 2003, and it hasn't been in a war for a while, you think Iraq is doing great? Obviously not, wherever USA goes, they leave a destroyed country behind them, and they are proud of it. They do not care what happens, they blame that the regime killed many people and they wanted to bring "democracy" there and get rid of nukes.

US is known for one thing, any country they have interest in, they make sure it doesn't reach it goals, they are known for this invasion for many years. All the countries they have fought many years ago even after the war has not remain the same, some has remain unproductive with all the effort they have made to put the country in other, this is the problem of US. The humanitarian supports from US doesn't get to most of these countries, the UN is responsible but who is UN Without US funding, they bend rules for the course.

But how does it make sense to kill people in Iran to make that happen? And leave a worse nation behind? Obviously all they care about is making sure that Iran finally changes their views, get rid of the regime, get a democratic election, and figure out how to get those oils into USA instead of Russia or China.

They can't change the regime, this is what the US doesn't know. How many of this anti regime internal war have we seen since this war started, it has been chaos and survive and it's the citizens that feels the heat. The people that are losing their relatives to missiles, who are they going to consider the good regime, same people they have killed their relatives and you want them to forget everything and accept US with open arms, that ain't happening.

Some of the failure in Cuba is a reflection of its over dependence on support from larger countries.  Venezuela had the same problem in destroying naturally operating business and believing they can just force everything to be true but it doesn't work and it definitely fails on an island economy.
  I dont agree with the blockade in any way unless there is a violent threat, even plain sanctions are a precursor to war and that is not justified against an entire population without extremely good reasons and imminent threat.  

Iran by comparison is a nation of millionaires and obviously I realize many are poor but the rich do very well I have no doubt.  They will recover their profits well, the ordinary people may suffer and starve sadly.  Quite a few commodity nations are horribly imbalanced by this violent control of the nations assets, I dont rank them any higher then Sierra Leone's blood diamond war torn bandit economy.

Yes, the effects of war is very realistic because war affects almost all countries by directly or indirectly. A war between two opponent countries is not only the war of military but its also effects the ordinary people from both ends. After war inflation is increased and also economic instability is on  peak and for countries like Iran the conditions becomes more difficult due to economic pressure and very bad conditions of civilians. Along with poor countries, strong Countries like USA also faces the financial crises because its spends more budget on military rather then any other field. its seems USA is going to a big loss now a does se we should work on technology and its invocation for future.

Yes I am also against war because it harms many things this is a form of action that should not be needed in mediating an unrest from each other, diplomacy should be able to resolve all political tensions, but what power, both are so hard that Iran and the US must have to raise their weapons to defend outside countries that want to control them, but you don't forget there are countries that like to fight, even though we refuse, we will still be forced to find a place to show their weapons.

I'm with the pentagon's budget this year of $1 trillion, it's unbelievable.

Cuba... Cuba is an interesting topic
Have you ever been to Cuba?  I’ve been there... What’s more, I was born in a country that has essentially been supporting Cuba since its “independence”—though it’s not clear from what, exactly. Unless it’s independence from a normal life.
The USSR poured millions and billions into it; they even told us in school how we were building developed socialism there We built it for almost 50 years, and then it turned out... that it was all a sham. It became a place where the USSR’s money went toward everything except the economy—total corruption and dependence on the “master,” a lack of proper infrastructure and services. That was the state Cuba was in right after the collapse of the USSR. And as it turned out—no one needs Cuba; it has no real friends, only those who can profit from it or use Cuba for some populist goals.
I visited Cuba as a tourist sometime after 2000. They try to “paint” a pretty picture for tourists in the resort areas, but the moment you step outside that “golden cage,” you’re plunged into destitution, ruin, chronic poverty, and… a massive love for dollars! When you have dollars in your hands, the local population’s patriotism somehow vanishes immediately
 
Problems with energy? It’s simple there—massive wear and tear on equipment that no one has replaced or maintained, a lack of currency to purchase fuel, and their “faithful friend,” the Russian Federation, simply “had Cuba and its problems in mind,” though they did symbolically send a little of their own oil. The question is: why, in 60 years of “freedom,” hasn’t Cuba built an adequate electricity generation system, and why aren’t they developing alternative energy sources?
