When they say life imitates art, they're certainly not lying. I'm reminded of movies like "Back to the Future" and "Total Recall," among others. Man, that's crazy to see: cars that drive "on their own," that fly (still in development, but soon a reality). I just don't know if I'd own one of those; I don't know, I'm not drawn to those designs. Despite being an exceptional car, I find the Cybertruck ugly and weird, and this one isn't far behind...
To each their own, right? I believe that for those who like it, it will be a great acquisition.
I fondly recall watching the movie 'total recall, staring Arnold Schwarzenegger, where they had a robotic driver that asked the passenger if they had a pleasant ride or something like that right after the car crashed or something, the technology looked unreal then but here it is today, a reality in cybertaxi. Maybe one day we will actually see cars that would fly as we've seen in a number of futuristic movies, science and technology is proven that nothing is totally impossible, if you can think it somebody will actualize it one day.
Unfortunately I doubt that these cybertaxis can operate in every cities and counties without modernized roads that are constructed to accommodate taxis without human drivers especially in underdeveloped countries. I hope that the technology will chalange cities and counties to develop their roads to suit futuristic transportations.
I think that the cybertaxis looks good enough, perhaps their looks are too futuristic for some of us but Beyond their looks I think that the most important aspect is what they can perform.
