On desktop, even after disabling Braves' shield protection it doesn't work. Got the same error.
Well, I did some research and found that this problem is mainly related to Brave browser. This
Voice error: network error is shown in Brave browser because Brave blocks Google's Web Speech API due to privacy reasons. Due to which, even though it is a Chromium based browser, no Google speech recognition or voice typing works here. Even you don't see any voice search option while using google search.
As a solution, you need to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. If you use the uBlock Origin ad blocker with Google Chrome, you will get a similar feel to Brave. I feel sorry for you.
