I won't say cryptos is meant to help the poor but it can support them somehow. Cryptos can majorly be a favourite investment option for middle-class families who can afford to spare some change. For poor people, they usually do not have any spare and all they do is work today to eat tomorrow. These people do not really care about cryptos or any other asset for say. All they want is better job opportunities today so they can support their family. Also let's not forget digital literacy. Not every poor has the available resources to hunt online about cryptos.
As we advance with technology, more and more people are getting acquainted to the online world. Middle-class has already penetrated the online world and now is the time for lower class to start exploring these cutting edge technologies.
I totally agree with you that crypto is not for the poor, there is no very logical reason for that, crypto is a technological advancement for alternative transactions, bookkeeping and also and the efficiency of digital space, I also don't think whether it is for the middle class or not, I consider that crypto is for anyone who can access it, including investing, trading, or anything else there is no economic class discrimination here.
The poor class can enter if they have resources ranging from knowledge, devices and others to seek greater hope that they can use to find a better living space, but I think more of them are still thinking about how to eat tomorrow.
