Scammers will do everything possible so that you going to trust them, they going to make everything real and you going to have confidence in them before they going to attack you. When you start sending little amount to them, they might not even run, they going to make u believe they are real, immediately you send them big amount of money, you might not hear from them again.

Funny enough the tried to get my full trust by giving me rewards every day for staking my coin on their mining platform. And after two weeks I woke up to see my wallet has been cleared. Both the rewards and my personal coin all gone

When you see a random person asking you to stake your coin on their platform, then you have to be careful, you should know that you are about to get scammed. When you stake your coin, they going to make everything real, you won’t know they are scammer, some might even encourage you to deposit more money, then at the end you won’t hear from them again.

Then in 2024 I tried building back. It wasn't easy from the start but I kept up with consistency. Although I don't have as much as I had back in 2020 but I am glad I am able to stay committed no matter how small the growth seems.

You know the mistake is from you, and that should serve as a lesson to you, and just because you lose doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look for a way to bounce back, that doesn’t mean you should give up completely, because if you don’t build yourself again, you just going to end up regretting.

Starting all over may not be the real solution needed, but before we decided on this, what have we put in place to ensure that we don't fall into the same repeated issue that got complicated before now, have we discovered some lapses and try to fix them before starting all over, are we definitely working on some preventive measures to make sure we achieve our goals in cryptocurrency or we are only taking a second time risk.

Being scammed once is one thing but, falling into the same scam for a second time, that would be crazy. It would actually mean you didn’t learn nothing from your previous and you didn’t lose enough apparently. So, I would believe just anyone who is pained from such scams ought to have learnt a thing or two.
The only exception would be those that are actually involved in the Ponzi scheme scams, those guys just never learn nothing, they always have a way to believe they would make it out in the nick of time and never does.

One thing that remains certain is, so long as there is time and life in you, you don’t really have a choice about starting anew if you hope to succeed in life. It’s never an option.

Making mistakes is one part, but admitting to yourself that you were wrong is another part which many new investors continues to fail. What you should understand is that there's no one above mistakes. You may feel at some point that you are doing it right and just taking the normal risk, but not until it's too late you may not realise that you are going to the wrong direction. What makes it even more critical is the fact that in crypto when your coins are lost, there's little to no chance of recovering them. Well I know how greedy has ruined some people's life, back then I also do accept any kind of cryptocurrency investment that comes my way and all are ponzi schemes,  that's I whenever I saw or see any new cryptocurrency project I don't even make an attempt to know more about it, I will just make a conclusion that it's a scam. Absolutely true. Something is better than nothing and so, starting all over is better than not starting at all.
The harsh truth is, this is part of the game. Even I had faced a similar situation where I lost 50% of my portfolio to some foolish decisions that I had made in the past.
It took me a while to digest the losses but I knew that I had to stand up again and so I started accumulating bitcoin more aggressively.
Even I haven't accumulated as much as I had before but slowly, the portfolio will keep growing.

Good advice OP, We should start all over when we fall into a trap and lose everything. But not everyone can regain what they lose especially elderly people. I'm also quite old in crypto section and see many people get scammed and lose all their fund some even do suici*e. Elderly people can't start all over when they lose their hard earned money. But young people can get confidence from story like yours to start all over.

At this day and age, randomly entertaining messages from a platform that promotes anonymity is a recipe for disaster. Like what OP said, these painful experiences are what build our character and attitude in approaching investment scams like these.

It varies from person to person that who can start all over again. As you said, if a person in his 60s loses everything in crypto then it won't be possible for him to start again because he is not in best of his health and abilities.
