There is a saying that says that, the way you dress, that is how you will be addressed also. You can't be dressed in another way and expect people to see you in a different way, as they are some people that do dress indecently and it can expose them to some danger that will lead them to some bad experience, especially the ladies. They don't have to go naked and be expecting people to respect them, when they haven't give themselves that self- respect, as first impressions matters.

There are hundreds of cultures in this world and we should not expect for everyone to dress in a way that we assume to be right because what may be ethical to us might be a different definition in another region.
My culture dressing entire may be different and look odd in another region and this is why we should see dressing with different perspectives and not to use my own regional dressing pattern to judge other regions.

We live in a society that is full of atrocities when it comes to modalities to how people dress, people have developed more interest in the name of civilization to appear naked than to cover up their body with clothes that are defeating for a particular occasion, the question is that is this still fashion or craziness?

This has become a normal thing for this current generation, they don't care what people will say or not or how they will be addressed, sometimes I become ashamed on their behalf. This indecent dressing is done mostly by women, because men are more decent when it comes to fashion. Even though some may be indecent but they are not much.

We dress in an abnormal way and yet still want to be addressed in a normal way, we should discourage every form of indecent dressing because it's make us feel more uncomfortable when we wear such and also the value our reputation when it's comes to public appearance, are we going to open our eyes to keep watching things going the same way and people dress in an indecent manner and we claim that the society is still corrupt of all evil atrocities among women.

First of all I will like to know your gender, because you said "we" & "us" as if everyone is a woman lol.. because as far as I know women are more indecent than men, and saying us looks pretty well like we all are in this together  . Well this is just a form of joke anyway. But the truth is that indecent dressing is not good because it deprive you of some important things you would have gotten from the public. When people see you dress indecent they see your lifestyle reflecting from in your dressing, and when you have a good public position to handle, you find it difficult to get because you have made yourself look indecent or cheap, and they may not entrust you with a reasonable thing, even if you are good they don't care to know.

I like other girls exposed themselves when they're not my sisters or girlfriend, dressing to attract men is a cheap stuff, now before your see a girl face you have already seen her pant or braless breast. It's crazy, and difficult for parents to control indecent dressing, Genz don't list to advise they do as they like.

As a young man it's important you go for a girl that respects her body not the one that exposed herself to public, you shouldn't be with a public girl, have a decent and responsible girl that respects her body and keep it private.

These are the scenarios I have seen among people when judging indecent dressing, they pick which to condemn than starting from the root causes.

There is what we call attraction. It is believed that dressing in a style calls for more attraction. It does not mean the person is not beautiful. Everyone made in Gods image is beautiful. To bring out the beauty in class we are allowed to style ourselves in many ways we can that we suit the occasion at the moment. However, going naked in the name of dressing isn't acceptable.

It all comes down to attention.  200 years ago you were competing against only a few women for the towns' biggest stud.  Now if you want his attention, you have to show more.

Beauty does not lies on how we dress, this is one of the first misconception that people had even in the early days, some even believed that the more you try to expose yourself indicate that you are showing content to deceive a man into having affairs with you, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, not all men's look at the outward appearance, instead the character and qualities that made up of a woman, which may include some special skills like cooking, insight about tradition or custom, wisdom wisdom, among others.

Honestly these days the way you dress as a woman tells how many men will stop you and ask you some questions, is like a competition now because back then beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder like you said OP but now that idea or thinking is nowhere to be found. Women know that men are moved by what they see so exposure of the body and other crazy things are needed to catch the eyes and attention of a man, which means they don't care how they appear as long as they (women) get the attention they needed from a man. Is only few Men that discard all these dressings and some love all they see even the crazy dressing girls but ones they're in they treat that dirty dressing lifestyle off the woman, these type of men are not many but the thing is, desperation that is why we see women showcasing almost every part of themselves just to be attractive.

The choice of dress should be based on several factors, which include weather conditions, occasion, culture, convenience, and so on. In these beauty competitions, contestants would have to expose their bodies for the judges to observe and score them. People also wore bikinis for swimming in beaches and pools.   

People would have to always consider the culture of an area before choosing their dress code. I have seen people in the US streets who are almost naked. But if you try that in my area, you would be embarrassed by people.
