Yes, bad leadership can seriously affect the growth of a country. When leaders focus more on corruption, personal interest, or politics instead of the people, the economy and standard of living usually suffer. A good example is countries where there is plenty of natural resources, yet the citizens are still struggling because of poor leadership and bad management. You see high inflation, unemployment, bad roads, poor healthcare and insecurity. Take countries like Venezuela have huge oil resources, but years of poor economic policies and leadership problems led to massive inflation and hardship for citizens. Even in some African countries, leaders spend more time campaigning and fighting political battles instead of fixing important issues like electricity, education, jobs and the economy. In the end, ordinary people are the ones that suffer the most.

Of course it does bring bad economic impact if the leadership is bad. First the peace and order, if they don't care about the mobs and the peace in the streets, no investor will come. And when streets aren't safe and clean, who's the first one to feel that impact? the locals, so the hardship is there for the people already. The style of leadership isn't  the major problem but the decisions made by the leadership that makes the difference, Some countries practice autocracy, democracy, monarchy, e.t.c and are doing fine while there are others that practice it and are in a worse economic condition. If the leaders are competent and have sound economic implementations, of course it would reflect in the living conditions of the people, but if the leaders are corrupt, the country would remain stagnant and people would suffer greatly.

That's true, I'll use my country as an instance, the previous administration was better than this ruling government but back then people criticized the other government, they weren't perfect but gave listening ears to the masses to an extent, things were far better than now and they were trying in making the economy better than currently.

Bad leadership doesn’t come about a prosperous nation and nation that is not prosperous will simply also mean that their economy is bad and will not lead to any growth in the country. As citizens, when we hear the phrase "bad leadership", corruption just happen to be the very first thing that comes to mind, so i'm going to assume that's the case and stick with that. Of course, bad leadership does not develop a country. For a country that was never developed, bad leadership only make things far worse than usual, while for the developed ones, they end up struggling to get better and achieving new things. The truth is, one of the worst countries you just don't want to find yourself, are countries where the supposed people in government clearly have no clue of how to govern a country. The economic prosperity or failure of any country depends on the type of leaders that they have that is the simple truth, if an economy is in prosperity and new sets of bad leaders enters into leadership that economy will gradually begin to detoriate.
