I think you're being sentimental here about your view on the poor class of gamblers and just favouring the rich gamblers without real fact about if they gamble for fun or for money or not. However, if so, it can not be that it is all rich gamblers that gambles for the fun of it.

Money can not be enough for any body not minding how rich they may be they will still want more money to maintain their financial status since they do spend more on other life requirements. The rich and the poor they both gamble for fun and some for the money.

Yeah both the rich and the poor or fall under that category as long as you gamble for fun it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor what matters is the drive so you can't really different the rich from the poor when they both are gambling with the same drive weather you gamble with small amount or you gamble with big amount it doesn't really matter as along as it is done for same reason then it can be treated as such. I know there are other reason why people gamble and offcourse everyone wants to make a profit from gambling weather rich or poor no one will just want to throw away money just like that without getting any result from it.

I completely agree with you. Because the purpose of gambling is to win. No one actually bets to lose. Even if he is rich, he will not want his money to be lost in gambling. This is the reality. They don't gamble to make a profit, but to maintain their image and status.People just like them come to the casino or the races, and they need to show that they're just as rich and influential.For them, losing a large sum is a source of pride,while for ordinary people it's a tragedy.Remember any movie about rich people in a casino, how they behave for them, it’s just a pleasant pastime.

Most of the extremely rich influential people that goes to the casino and spending huge amount gambling and don't care to lose them have partnership with the casino, don't forget that physical casinos also need promotion and advertising so there for making rich guys ambassador and allowing them access to betting funds make an image for the casino itself there by driving traffic to their platform in the end.

Yeah, that is just it.. Because when someone is rich, gambling or betting is not any pressure to them, it does not carry the same pressure like it does for others.. For them it can just be entertainment or social activity, not something they depend on to earn a living..
But for people trying to make money from it, the mindset is completely different, because both emotions and expectations are all in..

Socializing could be part of the reason why they gamble. I also agree with that, but they are never all without any single worry. The best would be, if at all, to ask them their main purpose of gambling. If they could be bold and honest, you will find out that some are actually doing it not just for the fun but also as a means to escape something and earn extra aside from what their source is already given them.
