As an Indian, I know that my country is navigating a complex geopolitical landscape. Our neighbours want to destroy us, whereas we never tried to threaten their existence. The world is in chaos because of wars happening now and near our continent or near us. I felt it was a good opportunity for me to create this thread on our local board to discuss what we, as Indians, can do and what other countries think about our country, India.

As India is becoming geopolitically relevant and important, I have read and seen how important our country has become in the last few years. That is why I thought we should discuss here about geopolitics and the Indian perspective.

I have zero idea if this thread will be active, but I will start with this question, which is related to geopolitical events. Yesterday, the PM of our country asked us as citizens of this country, to do a few things, which became controversial. I am listing those statements, and I want your input on what is going to happen next

  • Prioritize Work from Home

  • Reduce Fuel Consumption

  • Prioritize Work from Home

Work from home is the best thing mentioned in this list. I personally like this since I am in favor of permanent work from home.

  • Reduce Fuel Consumption

Well yeah, that's in our favor as it will help us reduce fuel cost.

  • Postpone Foreign Travel

For the time being, yes this can be considered.

  • Minimize Gold Purchases

This is something what I didn''t understand. Why would the government want us to reduce gold purchase ?
I don't get the logic behind this.

  • Reduce Cooking Oil Usage

Again, it's in our best interest to do this to stay healthier. Cheers to that.

Personally, I don't like Modi or BJP one bit and most Indians are already following most of the stuff that he mentioned since it's all common sense. Work from home is a dream come true for many while foreign travel has become expensive thanks to jet fuel price increase.

Never was interested in gold myself and I recently have become addicted to air fryer food without any oil involved since I am a fit dude.

Politics needed to be on our side for many things; if we, as Indians, needed to have more influence this always having a deep impact on our mindset, things needed to be settled professionally.
This always lacks what Modi is doing and how Modi is doing it; it's ok. Always focus on our personal initiative, and this will bring better results.

I also love to work from home and was investing in gold, but now my priority is Bitcoin because it attracts me more than any other investment in the long run.
