What you say is quite true, we have seen and felt the price increase in certain goods related to AI, a small example is RAM, but just like the industrial revolution in the past, it is just a matter of time because where the initial development has to cost a lot, and after all goes well, in the sense that AI successfully develops in the future and productivity growth exceeds the initial cost, it can eventually help. Initial sacrifices are necessary if there is to be change.

In every generation there comes something that boosts inflation and I guess this time for AI.
AI requires data centres which requires land, electricity, GPUs, servers etc... all of these require critical resources.
Yes it has increased prices for all of these resources but at the same time AI is also being used at such a large extent.
I guess we need to sacrifice something in order to achieve something and here we are sacrificing the resources to achieve growth.

As in increase the inflation rate more? Too bad, as the OP thought it was the opposite. The economics of price of an item is like that (more demand is equals to more price hike). But I never thought this is another cause for an inflation to rise. All the time I'm only focused on the money printing of the banks. Although the definition of inflation which makes the value of our money to get less are still qualified for it though.

It may seem bad but the effect only gets lessen when we think about that AI still had some great things to offer to us or to our economy. This may negate the other negative impacts of it which is the laying off of some workers, especially on the I.T field. But speaking of workers, there is still a demand in the labour works right now for companies that sell items that AI uses. Workers are also needed to build AI data centres. There is also a need for I.T personnel or electricians that will work on that centres. So as we can see, that still counters it.

I don't think AI has much of an impact on inflation, as current developments in the AI ​​industry only impact certain sectors, particularly data centers and semiconductors. Sorry, had to stop reading right after that statement, as I suspect that AI might be making your posting habits easier*strike that, I sent back and read your post and I'm not even sure what your point is*--but for me and every single person I know, AI has been simply a fucking annoyance in their lives because of how the big companies who have massive internet presence have been using it. 

Not to mention google's AI gave me absolutely erroneous medical information about 3 weeks ago.  I don't use that function normally; I just tried it for one question.  You know what I think?  If they're giving out nonsensical (or just wrong) medical information, they should be open to lawsuits.  I'd be happy to see that company burn to the center of the earth.

The inflation aspect is complicated--or at least it has a lot of moving parts.  But why should I write an essay here when OP can't even arrive at a comprehensible point?

That sort of depends on who you are. To people like you and me, it is just boring annoying thing that we keep seeing on social media that bothers us. But, I am sure that there must be a lot of people who actually use AI and make a lot of money with it and made themselves a better life as well.

This is not just a purely bad thing, there must be some users for it to be worth this much, if there were no users then how could we see this much investments going into it, that means there are users.
